If this holds true, RCCL is gonna have two more ships they won't know what to do with! The Annual Meeting on May 26th is gonna be an INTERESTING ONE! Actually, just got my proxy voting via email.

While I think they would consider moving the Oasis back to FL, it could be earlier in the summer, say June thru August. Now going on a limb here, all Royal has to do it get the word out that new sailings have been created leaving FL and I think people would book! And I think this decision would have to be made fairly quickly! Yes they would have to offer FCC and Refunds for the sailings out of NJ, but could generate $$$ with sailings from FL. Plus it may give a chance for Royal to sail ships not at capacity with all new procedures they may have in place. Baby Steps

I pretty much know the answer but is it only for bookings made thru Royal? It would be nice if they indicate this somewhere on the web page. Did I miss it?

That's why I think the CLIA has a right to say the cruise line industry is getting pick on vs other industries similar to them.

I hear ya, and understand to a certain extent. My concerns have moved from waiting patiently for our my money back to are we going to get it at all? Your mind starts to wonder what the heck is going on! Unfortunately, I think this is going to be a topic until more people report refunds have been issued.

OK maybe this is a better Analogy which may also be seen differently by others, but what's great about it is that it's all based on opinion. Colleges and Universities would have never thought they would be refunding tuition or dorm fee's. My son's university (which is not a small university), published how refunds would be processed with specific instructions, amounts, and dates. They even had two options, which I am sure makes things more difficult for them. Kinda like Royal. This was requested a week ago and guess what!!! Got an email yesterday that funds were deposited into my account this morning. FLAWLESS! I honestly think something is going on with Royal. And this feeling is only being fueled by the lack of communication, different explanations by agents, and lack of refunds. Just show me the "Money". What movie? A little Friday Humor!

I will choose a FCC which means I don't have to do anything. According to the web site I should expect this on Friday May 22nd. Or Royal could make it easier for the consumer to sort things out without needing a translator! LOL

All of this could be a mute point if the following were to happened: The person in charge of social media content on the WWW for Royal, read and listened to our concerns and fixed them immediately. (I know someone is out there) Maybe a person on this forum that may have a closer connection to Royal than the rest of us, tell them our concerns. (I know someone is out there) Please remember this is just an opinion.

A little analogy, if we have some incredible Americans that can create a complex machine like a ventilator in a month, is it asking too much for our refunds to be credited in that same about of time.

I know FCC and Refunds have been the majority of the conversations on this blog lately but I think we all have valid reasons we are talking about it. Imagine, if they gave us a clear update on why things are being held up, we could go back to talking about fun things!

This goes back to the numerous times people have said on this blog, they can instantly charge your cc, it's so fast that the minute they hit charge my app "dings" indicating a charge was put thru and my money has been taken away from me instantly. So with that in mind, I have a very hard time with the process they have in place. It seems like its from the stone age. Why can't they front the funds from the FCC they know they are going to have to issue. Wait a minute that crazy talk! We are never gonna win folks.

Have you received taxes and other fee's that should have been credited back to you for the 3/15 cruise?

What happens when you have 86 million in shares and they file for Chap 11? I am not a stock person either so are their different stocks that would not be affected by a Chap 11 filing?

I called yesterday and conferenced my TA, got nowhere! She told us it was generated by the system! So that blows the idea that it's manual.

I still keep in touch with the crew from the Adventure via FB and Instagram. Kim and Taylor from the sports team are awesome! I even picked them up one day during turn around and showed them South Florida and took them out to lunch!

Good Morning, I am so glad that others are voicing their problems with refunds. I believe it's a major problem that Royal has us by the b _ _ _ _! I was being good with not spelling it out! LOL And can someone confirm this statement "I believe only ONE, 1 , UNO, person has indicated on this thread they received a refund". Thanks

Take a look off the east coast of Florida from Miami up to Jax. Some are so close I could swim up to them if I was a marathon swimmer! LOL

Does anyone know if by law do US companies and banks have a certain time frame they have to follow for issuing credits? Meaning number of days?
