  1. Same here with some baked goods in Bar Harbor. Yet no issue walking on with a cooler that had on it "Live Lobsters".
  2. Don't even get me started with this guy out of Cape Liberty...
  3. What @WAAAYTOOO is what I've heard as well. However, on Oasis in January no issues booking the entire week in CK. Can't really report from a JS view on Harmony. As mentioned already, best bet is to head up to CK when getting on and make your reservations. It also can help being flexible with times each night if needed.
  4. @twangster See those blue dots in the middle of some of the paths/lines. Hunch is everything on the other side will be suite only. From what I recall reading, yes that means the entire Solarium. Also the solo/suite elevator looks to go between decks 13 and 16.
  5. Yup, every other restaurant has everything on the menu covered. Only exclusion would be the seafood tower and lobster at Chops. Using menu from Brilliance again... Only general rule at Chops is only one entree can be ordered. Multiple appetizers, sides, and desserts are fine. Chops: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/menus/chops-grille-menu-brilliance-of-the-seas Giovanni's: If it on the menu, order it. Don't think the have a single entree policy. Geovanni's menu on Adventure: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/menus/giovannis-table-dinner-menu-adventure-of-the-seas Just keep in mind the menus might not be exactly the same ship to ship. For the most part they will be very similar.
  6. Now dining package as a whole... Hard to judge and really depends on the dining experience you might be after. Overall the speciality restaurants offer more of an intimate dining experience with less of a hustle that the main dining room would offer. Dishes themself can be better due to them being more made to order. Ultimately it all comes down to personal taste and can be hard to judge if it is worth it or not. If your group loves steak, eating at Chops multiple nights could be worth it. Wanting to taste everything the ship has to offer and not worry about an onboard cost, go for it.
  7. Only a la carte place I can think of is Izumi. With a $35 credit a person that can cover a lot. Get a better idea of what everything costs check out: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/menus/izumi-menu-brilliance-of-the-seas Should also add Matt did a great review of Izumi on Brilliance as well: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/02/06/review-izumi-brilliance-of-the-seas
  8. @mk-ultra Is Star class worth it... My opinion it is what you make of it. I know on Anthem we didn't take the full advantage of it. Part had to do with itinerary, was very port intensive. Plus the last day was a wash due to some intense planning needed in order to get back home. It was nice having the Genie create your onboard plans (dining and shows) plus any activities. Plus having a central point of contact for anything. LIVEish from Anthem:
  9. @monctonguy If you haven't already, check your spam folder. In my case it got directed there using gmail.
  10. Has been one point for $5 coin in on slots and $10 for video poker. Table games, who knows how it ends up being calculated.
  11. Yes, you can do one and one. But you have to call.
  12. Wonder how popular Coco Beach Club will end up being. Personally the prices seem a bit steep. Do like the idea of Voom coverage on the island. Glad it will transfer over from the onboard purchase. Wonder if someday down the road Labadee will be the same. One surprise is no Suite Beach.
  13. Part that is the most shocking is the price was reflecting a 20% discount... Other words, prices onboard would be ~$12.50 a day plus 18%.
  14. For me my first cruise ever was on Carnival Inspiration in December of 2005 sailing into 2006. It was a change of plans for celebrating my 21st birthday, original plan was going to Biloxi. As you could imagine, the orginal plan was washed away... Sailed out of Tampa with Cozumel being the only port. Not knowing any better and now looking back, it was an interesting experience tendering in Cozumel. The fond memory, the "worm" ceiling. Other fun memory was seeing everyone trying to get that first bit of cell signal as we got close to the coast the wee hours of the final night/morning.
  15. Using March 1, sunset would be 6:14 Eastern sunrise at 6:34.
  16. Hunch, they will find them and bring them back. Wonder what is done today on CocoCay and Labadee. My personal guess... This is one way to force a pay only overnight option. Plus you hit they nail on the head, they don't want people bringing on camping gear for their own overnighter.
  17. This was taken in 2016 on Allure. Glad to know the product used is the "real deal". Well some of the frozen product at least.
  18. Just check my upcoming Harmony sailings in 2019 and 2020. Not sure what it was before but the waterpark is showing up as $49 for the half day and $69 for the full day. (In port from 8am to 5pm) Thrill Waterpark Cabana and Full Day Pass is at $629 for up to 6 people. Other two (Chill Island and Oasis Lagoon) cabanas are $399 for up to 8.
  19. September 3rd Majesty sailing it was $47 (+18% service charge/gratuity) during the sale. Think the one with Voom was $59 (+15% service charge/gratuity).
  20. If that is the case I wonder if Princess does as well. With them falling under the Carnival Corp umbrella.
  21. Carnival is the only line that I'm aware of with a daily limit. Glad I could help.
  22. No limit on the quantity. Any drink between $12-$13 (depending on ship class) is covered. If a beverage goes over you pay the difference between the covered amount and cost, plus gratuity on the difference. Example drink is $15 and covered amount is $13. You would pay $2 plus 18% for a total of $2.36 This post should answer all questions and more: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/01/08/answers-common-royal-caribbean-unlimited-alcohol-package-questions
  23. Something I completely forgot about, no customs form on the May 12th sailing on Harmony. Was just verbally asked the declaration questions. Not sure if they are following the Port Canaveral lead or not. As such, no mobile passport or Global Entry lines that I was aware of.
  24. With Royal the boarding time slots don't matter. If your SetSail shows a later time than you arrive they'll let you check in/board "early". Now the only place where time slots are held back are for the various reservations and dining times if applicable.
