Also to add, the tea isn't fresh brewed. It is from a concentrate.

https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/03/16/royal-caribbean-shares-new-fleet-wide-room-service-menu Options include a cheese plate, fruit plate, and cookies. For finger food items, quesadilla would work, large and cut into three or four slices, wings, chicken tenders (would ask for them without fries), plus nachos might be another idea, pizza was good as well. Beverage wise, I've asked for a pitcher of "iced tea" and water before (plus empty cups). Not sure about juice type offerings, might ask when calling. I'd also suggest asking for a bucket or two of ice. Pictures below were from Harmony, what I had ordered for the final stop on a cabin crawl. Just say it was a tad too much for the two that showed up for the crawl...

Beverage packages do not cover any drinks delivered by room service.

Part of the "Go with the Loft" club.

The box cutter and letherman might not be allowed onboard. Also unsure about the matches, maybe swap with a bic lighter.

As @Matt mentioned, no major lead in. Sometimes some decorations might be up when boarding. Case of Oasis last year nothing was put up until late the 30th/early hours of the 31st. Know some of the bars as they closed down were putting up decorations. As they closed post Halloween the decorations came down. Now from what I've heard, the crew has one heck of a party during the 31st/1st period.

Done Halloween on Enchantment, Freedom, and Oasis. With Mariner on the books for next year. Always been a fun time. On Enchantment they randomly pulled dressed up folks to join in the 70's/Halloween party. Freedom and Oasis they held a costume contest down the Promenade. All ships had some decorations up and plenty of both guests and crew members dressed up. As @arebee mentioned people will go all out with costumes. I've said it a few times, Halloween onboard should be something experienced at least once.

Card will be stamped to indicate the soda package. Cup is only needed to use the FreeStyle dispensers.

I'm about 99.9% sure liquor and mixer is the base rate for a beverage. In the example you provided it would be $7.95 plus the 18% gratuity. Yay random photo archives... This was taken on Allure back in 2016. I'm sure it isn't 100% accurate anymore, but should give an idea of extra costs.

Fitbit should rely on your phone for time. Manually change the time on the phone and it should sync to the Fitbit. Only requirement would be verifying Bluetooth is turned on. On the Voom front: Could buy a single day (24 continuous hours) access at around $23. Sometimes later on in the cruise a 30 minute continuous block is offered for around $10.

Fill out the special needs form: https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/allaboutcruising/guestSpecialNeeds.do (or send an email to [email protected] ) Should get a reply back in a few days saying they'll have distilled water and extension cord provided in your stateroom. If it isn't in your stateroom upon arrival, just talk to your stateroom attendant.

Stumbled upon this from USA Today https://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/travel/cruises/2018/09/13/celebrity-cruises-edge-ship-first-look-photo-tour/1284728002/

Did rafting on the land tour at the Denali stop on my Alaskan adventure in May/June 2014. Yes, the water was cold. The key thing is you're wearing a drysuit, so it was a tad on the muggy side in the suit. Killer part was no gloves, fingers around the halfway mark started to become numb. Worst part was at the end unzipping the drysuit, that was the only time I became extremely cold. That was more due to thermal shock, going from warm in the dry suit to the cool air. Once on the warm bus it was a thought of the past. Might help give an idea of what was worn

Key thing for me is I would have asked to do more. Maybe in room dining or something along those lines. Did Canada/NE so it was port intensive. Best advice if wanting to to Ripcord, ask for a time very early in the sailing. I had booked online for day 2 and the Genie had a booking for later on. Think on day 3 or 4 Ripcord was out of service for the rest of the cruise.

Don't worry got plenty of them. Normally the part that ends up breaking is the zipper seal after opening it a few times. Good thing is once the card is in the pouch it never needs to come out. Got your info, will mail them out tomorrow.

Just got home a did a weight check. Could mail four of the pouches in a standard envelope with one stamp. If you are interested I'll be more than happy to mail some at no cost.

Heading back memory lane with the stop in Cozumel. Due to wanting to keep things a surprise I didn't want to post this sooner. Having nothing else better to do I wound up walking to MEGA as a spur of the moment thing. Figuring after the visit I'd finish the walk to COZ Coffee. MEGA was interesting, best to think of it as a Mexican Wal-Mart. One thing to keep in mind if visiting is they have a no bag policy. If you do happen to have a bag it can be checked at the counter. I'd had seen a video some time back where someone was touring MEGA and they had been requested to stop filming. As such I kept my best to take a few photos on the down low. Credit cards are accepted, charged in pesos. Give an idea, 6 pack of Coca Cola Sin Azúcar was $48 MXN, small bottle (not sure of size, maybe 600ml) was $10 MXN. One liter bottle of water $9.30 MXN. My total bill wound up at $209.84 MXN, charged $10.93 USD. Next up was a stop at Chocolateria Isla Bella, just down the street from COZ Coffee. As a birthday present for someone I wound up picking up a box of chocolates.

Time for one last picture heavy food post for this cruise. Today during lunch in the forward section of Windjammer they had a "Live Station" (what I've been calling an Action Station) that was Mongolian Grill. The main area had the "Thank You"cake and a cream puff tower (sorry no pictures). Pizza of the day was "Carnivore" Menu in the Main Dining Room offered lobster tail. (This was also the first time the entire cruise I had any meal there) Windjammer Recon for Dinner, theme (unsure, already packed away the Compass) Really like the two level setup in Windjammer. Makes it feel so much larger and brighter during the day. Not mentioned before, think every night they have had a cold soup here. Carvery (Jerk Chicken and Pork) and Live Station (Crepes) Finally finish it up with dessert, where the Red Velvet cupcakes still roam free.

Don't know why, I always feel compelled to step foot off at every port. Can't think of any cruise I didn't. May not do any excursions or go beyond the port complex gates, just have to step off mentally. Guess the only one might be the home port, but for some reason they don't like it if you don't get off.

Ultimate Beverage Package Question
CGTLH replied to ChunkyMonkey's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Wondering if the verbiage change was due to people not respecting the no flash policy. Easier just to say no photos altogether. -
At Captain's corner right now. Question about the storm and departure: Was planned to leave right when the storm was off the coast. They figured by the time they exited the bay the storm would be 60 miles to the northwest. Then the goal was to say in the southeast corner of the storm. Around 7am the jog to the west was made toward Mexico. Fleet policy is now to have extra food provisioned when sailing during hurricane season. Will also add it seemed to be one of the longer ones, right at a hour.

Yup: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6YTKM8 I have a few extras at home. Depending on if they fit in an envelope and a single stamp works I'll mail you a few. Won't have an answer until late Sunday.
