  1. It appears this is false information or the Port Authority wants to keep it close hold and not tell anyone in the office. This answer was posted on another site when asked about closure for next year. Good morning (Name Removed, not mine). In March 2020 the CDC issued a No Sail Order that was applicable to all cruise ports in the US including Tampa. The No Sail Order was lifted effective November 2020 with conditions set on returning to sail. To be clear, Port Tampa Bay (aka port of Tampa) is not closed to cruising, rather cruise lines are establishing (or have established) protocols to return to sailing and when the protocols are met the cruise lines will begin sailing again and Port Tampa Bay will be ready to receive the ships. I hope this clarifies for you. Best regards, Greg Lovelace Senior Director of Business Development Port Tampa Bay

  4. I’ve not seen this posted anywhere on the site or I just missed it. I did steal it from off the other site, you know..the one we don’t talk about. ? http://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/General_Info/Suspension_CWC_Reference_Grid.pdf
  5. Rumor has it that the CDC is working hard on establishing No Sail Order again! Effectively immediately, using the numbers published by the media currently today, lasting for 6 more months. Only time will tell..does published Pharma vaccine hold off that order..who knows?
  6. @JLMoranI looked into doing just this, I priced the cruise and all the equivalent tours associated the 8A, I found that it adds up to the same price with the exception of transportation from the ship to hotels/train and airport not being added. In the long run, I wouldn't like the headache of something falling out of the itinerary last minute and scrambling to find an alternative.
  7. Seems like the carrot was snatched back ? https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2020/11/11/royal-caribbean-has-no-plans-ask-volunteers-test-cruises-are-not-employees
  8. Not so fast!! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2020/11/11/royal-caribbean-has-no-plans-ask-volunteers-test-cruises-are-not-employees
  9. My best guess would be that Allure won't see refurbishment until long after cruising resumes, with more of a financial footing for the company.
  10. Looks like there prices are up too. ? I'm referring to the Alaskan Cruise/Tour prices.
  11. Don't expect those protocols to remain in place, there only there because the current administration limited the CDC's authority at this time.
  12. It doesn't look good with the new administrations plan. Biden's plan says it will be used as more of a "dial" approach that will determine the risk of spread using evidence-based guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Biden on Monday is slated to announce his coronavirus task force, which will be headed by Vivek Murthy, the former U.S. surgeon general, and David Kessler, the former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. In addition, another member of the task force expected to play a key role will be Dr. Zeke Emanuel, an adviser to Biden and the architect of the Affordable Care Act. Emanuel told MarketWatch in an interview that it could be as late as November 2021 before the United States will be able to get out of the pandemic.

  14. Nothing has changes with Delta..Still bag with small bottle of water, Cheezit and a cookie. FC has just started offering a choice between two snack boxes, one is a Hummus snack or Cheese, crackers and pepperoni box. It's not offered on all FC flights, it seems like it depends on how the flight attendants feel, whether you get it or not for that flight. Note...I've not stopped flying since this mess started. All I can says is all those inoculations shots I've received while in the military and great immune system I've got.. COVID doesn't like me. ?
  15. I hope that RCCL changes the date on these FCC's that were issued and set to expire Dec 2021.

  17. We stayed in 12236 and it wasn't bad for outside noise, so i would imagine it would be no different one deck lower.
  18. There’s a good chance that if the person that asks for it wouldn’t know what there looking for unless they have examples in front of then or were prior service.
  19. I would assume that verification proof would be for those who are currently active duty, reserves, National Guard and retired be in the form of I’d cards and for those who didn’t retire it would be a DD 214 which has your combat service annotated on it.
