A single, flat fee, so it's not that expensive if you're ordering for two or more people. However, it now makes for an expensive mid afternoon snack after a long day ashore.

I hope they extend the WJ hours to compensate for this new charge. Many on other ships are open from 6 am until 11 pm with no closing times between those hours.

The way I hear people complaining about room service trays cluttering the hallways, I got the impression it was a fairly commonly utilized service.

    OK.  First things.

On your plate in addition to the sushi rolls, you will see a small, thumb-sized pile of green dough.  That is to cleanse your palate.  Just pop it in your mouth and roll it around to prepare your tongue for all the flavors....

Okay just kidding.  When one of my friends first went for sushi, he did not realize it was wasabi, a horse-radish condiment that you mix in with the soy sauce to give it a little kick.  If you try it undiluted, you'll get a kick alright!  He swallowed it whole!

You can also bring little pouches of powdered Gatorade and mix onboard as needed.  Unless Pedialyte is your brand of choice.

Gatorade is a bit more concentrated with sugar and electrolytes.  So I would dilute it a bit more than normal mixing.

Would be good if they had someone adept at dosas!  I like a good egg dosa!  Or rava chili and cheese dosa with a good sambar.

I'm planning on wearing my US Army Dress Blue uniform with a black bow tie.  Or just a jacket and tie.  Depends on my mood.

A lot of high end restaurants in Manhattan still have loaner ties and jacketds for people who do not meet the dress code - usually something really out-of-date for the current fashion.  Do any of the boats do this?

One strategy is "pre-dinner".  If you have second seating in MDR, you go up to Windjammer when they open for dinner around 6 for a look around and if there's something that looks good, you have an appetizer sized portion of it.  I do this all the time because
I'm hungry I get to sample some of the unique food available there, like curry I'm hungry

Midnight to 5 am, but there's always some place open on the ship to get food if one does not want to pay.

    Thanks for the information Waaaytoo.

I'm not looking for a discount or any perk, just curious if RCI offers to facilitate or host a meeting of Allied Veterans.

I notice the Anthem of the Seas 22 June cruise to Bermuda coincides with the Americas Cup which is being hosted there.

Is there anything put out by RCCL about shore excursions to the America's Cup Village?  It should be about a mile or so from the Kings Wharf Dock.

Do they really have that?  If so, I wonder what happened to the machines on the cruise where the hurricane really rocked the boat and knocked things over!?

Looking on ebay, Anthem of the Seas is going for between $95 and $150 with $10 to $30 shipping USD.

Some of the smaller RCCL ships start around $15.  I did not know they had such things.  Now I'm going to want one and buy a few for nephews!

Go to 7-11 and get an Extreme Big Gulp mug.  I took one with me to military training in Louisiana one hot summer shortly after 9/11 before they got crazy with TSA.  I filled it with ice and it still had ice in it about 52 hours later.

If you won that much...RCL will file a 1099 or whatever they need to do for you to claim your winnings.  That is the way it works.

Going to the casino is like a bingo game. I know no one will ever max out their SEP-IRA or max out their ROTH.  It is just for fun and you need to approach this activity as just that...FUN.   I have won enough to satisfy my weekly adult beverage bill...maybe $130 but beyond that, I put my spending money in my right pocket and my winnings in my left pocket.   When both pockets are empty, it is time to retire for the evening.
