  1. The only music I want to hear in my room is the kind my wife and I make!! :) :) :)
  2. Our first cruise was on the Navigator back in 2006 out of Miami. Yes there was a lot of country music then ......Caribbean Country to include a steel drum band by the pool in the afternoon on cruise days. I can still remember "Hot, hot hot...."
  3. I prefer to call directly or go through my travel agent. I feel I get much better service than trying to book something on line.
  4. Seems like this topic is getting into a "tip for tat" scenario.
  5. Falmouth is only good for shopping, if you stay within the fenced area. As DocLC mentioned above, there are a lot more things to do in Cozumel, and it is a lot safer!
  6. The only "hard part" I see about this would be wasting my cruise time standing in the guest relations waiting line.
  7. Well, it all depends on what you consider "cheap". Having never had an on ship nor off ship massage, I think one gets into the consideration of professional training, standards and hygiene.
  8. Free wifi also at the Falmouth MVille. The Falmouth "compound" has great shopping opportunities. I strongly would not venturing outside of the gate into Falmouth proper. I did and turned right back around for the compound. Very aggressive street vendors and beggars, not the safest looking place either, in my opinion.
  9. What port?
  10. Great photo! Last time I checked, the only thing Tennessee was rocking from was the moonshine and not from the wind on a moving ship ;) ;)
  11. The BLT Bloody Mary is fantastic! Great way to get your vitamins, minerals and alcohol in one drink. Now, if they can come up with something that incorporates kale......
  12. I have found that it can be noisy if you're on the "docking" side of the ship when it comes in to port late at night/early morning.
  13. Thanks for you vote of confidence! Wonder why they removed that feature? I use to use it when determining if an excursion was worth the money, perhaps that's why?
  14. In the past, cruisers have posted comments/reviews under the excursions offered for an upcoming cruise which they have been on. Not so any more, which I find interesting. Now I can understand this if it is a brand new excursion that RC has never offered before. We are booked on the Serenade March 6 and the excursions they offer are not new and no reviews/comments. They are the same ones that were offered in 2011 when we were on the Serenade. Anyone else notice this? Or am I looking in the wrong place? I'm an old guy, but not senile.....yet.
  15. Formal nights are typically on days when the ship is cruising, with the exception of the last cruise day back into port.
  16. I would get back with the folks you booked through and ask them. After all, they are the ones that "gave" you the promos.
  17. So THAT was you! Smooth moves my man, smooth moves.
  18. Wow, steak or lobster, lobster or steak. Tough decision!
  19. Barbados has the "Green Monkey Golf Course" where I believe Tiger Woods has played many times before and even had his honeymoon therewith Elin back in the day before his "putter" went south. Check it out on Google, the course that is, not his putter
  20. Thanks for that link! These will work great.
  21. If you're an Amazon Prime member and order tonight, you should have them within 3 days. I would go for it and use the tape as plan B.
  22. That's a hell of an idea! Have the "server surprise me". I will definitely try it this coming March 2017. And here I tell all my friends the nice thing about cruising is you only have to decide what you want to eat. Now, that is taken care of too! More time for me to put that drink package to use..... ;)
  23. Book your excursions, dining preference (Main Dining Room or My Time Dining) entertainment now! Do Not wait until you get on board the ship, things you may want to do is booked full. My wife and I always bring our own soap and shampoo even though some is available in the bathroom. I totally agree with Doc, get to the port early and get on board early. Put any meds you may need and a bathing suit in a back pack. That way you can start your cruise adventure early. Your room may not be ready, but, you can still walk around thee ship, check things out, grab a bite to eat and something to drink before the crowds show up. Most importantly....relax and HAVE FUN!!!!!
  24. Too bad it's only rum and gin. We prefer vodka and bourbon. Oh well, just have to exercise my drink package.
  25. So Uke, was this for like a 3-5 day cruise?
