  1. Britney's in it?! I'm there! Glad I'm not her only fan on here.
  2. Someone on the forum, can't remember who, has all the ship models, they'd be the one to ask if they see this thread.
  3. lol, nice! Will do. We're booked for embarkation on Oct 28. Thanks to @CGTLH I looked into Halloween week.
  4. We did not receive any perks on our first sailing. That first sailing was a blast and got us hooked though, so I don't feel like I missed anything by not having any perks that first time.
  5. Awesome! I originally booked 6242, incase my TA missed the sale. However, she was able to rebook for me, and get more commission or whatever for doing the whole booking instead of a transfer, and she got us right next door in 6240. Thanks for the reply!
  6. Again, what @DocLC said, really anything goes anymore. I, like him, didn't do the full suit when we had to fly to our port of embarkation. Some dress shirts, a couple ties, done. No offense to anyone, I just don't know what else to call it...but personally, if someone comes in wearing "the preppy college kid look" (some nice shorts, nice collared shirt, and some boat shoes) I'm ok with that. It's the "I don't give a ****" shorts outfits that bother me.
  7. Loved the stingrays! Lots of people can be annoying (long story short my wife finally had to shove people out of the way because they were being "ray hogs" and not letting others feed or get pictures), but overall a good time. I enjoyed just snorkeling/swimming with them away from all the people.
  8. That is the shuttle building, the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). It was built for the Apollo missions, the Saturn rockets, but was also used by the shuttle program. Love the picture!
  9. Look up what features Adventure currently has, and what she's getting...I don't think you'll be disappointed with her. If you'll use your balcony multiple times everyday then I'd go for the bigger one.
  10. I'd have to agree with @DocLC. If you're going to be in Orlando for a couple days a rental would be the way to go.
  11. Wow, I haven't thought about that...over 2 weeks of a live blog... Well, it'll give me something to do since I've already done all my cruise booking, lol. However, @twangster, if you can't keep up for 19 days I'll understand, that's a long time to try and keep us landlockers entertained. Have fun!!
  12. Haven't checked cruise planner yet...but... Had Oasis booked for April 2019, changed it to Oct 2018...$2,000 cheaper for a JS with a bigger balcony. It was cheaper for me to book with a refundable deposit this time around as well...Not sure if that was a glitch, but I ran with it and booked. I'll have my TA check it out Monday, and rebook with her if it's all the same by then.
  13. Just read this in the Port Canaveral 2017/2018 Directory. "Cruise Terminal 3, one of the Port's oldest cruise terminals currently being used for single-day port-of-call vessels, will be replaced by a state-of-the-art facility able to serve cruise vessels with up to 8,000 passengers calling on the Port. The Port will invest $150 million for the new terminal, targeted for completion in 2019, which will support an estimated nearly 4,000 permanent jobs." No idea how new this news is, but it's the first I've heard of it.
  14. I'm calling pics or shenanigans on this one! ?
  15. A superior sounds like a good grab, I'd be happy with that for booking a guarantee.
  16. Holy crap! Might be all gone, that lady in the background is eying it ?
  17. Those are the 2 years I was talking about, thanks for better details than I could remember!
  18. For Port Canaveral you have to stray from the RC excursions. There is an escape room, ropes course, mini golf, kayaking, airboats, helicopter tours, etc.
  19. One year I got a bunch of OBC on cyber monday, the next year the "deal" was something else, don't remember what it was, but it wasn't anything I could use.
  20. Some cabins do indeed have queens, at least according to the descriptions.
  21. Traditional dining is a set time for every night of the cruise, and should be chosen online asap to get the time you want. My Time Dining means you can walk up at different times each night and be seated. With traditional you'll have the same wait staff all week. With MTD you may be at a different table each night and therefore may have different wait staff. Just ask for a table for 2 either way, there should be issues.
