True but Boaty McBoatface OF THE SEAS is NOT!!!

This could be for a host of reasons that do not even have to do with COVID.. They could be out of business, no longer have a service agreement with the cruise line, or "other".

Emed and Optum covid test expiration dates tracker.

Glad to see you will get them soon. It still looks like they need to rework some of their logistics and/or IT. It seems to be a complete roll of the dice as to whether or not you'll get a shipping notice. -
Does anyone have any idea if most ports have LNG available? I'm wondering if the availability of LNG may limit the number of ports where the Icon Class ships can originate or visit.

I am totally in this camp too. I like having things like boarding passes, set sail passes, etc. on my phone, but I always have an envelope of printed copies at the ready. How many times have I seen the boarding gates at the airport seem unable to read the codes on people's phone screens?

For the sake of curiosity, I put "Wonder" into a thesaurus website. Some of the results would NOT be good for a ship name!

Suggest changing title to "Presenting Negative Test Results" to clarify the intended pronunciation and meaning of "Present".

What is the best food you've had at a port?
SPS replied to JennaRCB's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Good to know! We'll be in both of those ports in August! -
It'd be the other way around. You'd avoid getting an internet package by paying just the $1.99 to message others. THIS is exactly why I'm interested in the chat feature instead of using another messaging app. We don't buy any of the internet packages. We like to be unplugged during our cruises. My wife and I will want the chat feature to track each other down when needed instead of leaving a note in the stateroom in the hopes the other will stop by.

I have an extra case of emed tests never opened the case at all

I suggest that you add the actual expiration date to this post. -
Giving this thread a bump for a couple questions. Is the app chat feature only available for purchase once on board? I have not seen anywhere in the cruise planner where it can be purchased ahead of time. Does the chat feature need to be purchased daily on board or is it purchased for the duration of the cruise? (i.e. $13.93pp for a 7-night cruise) We are on Odyssey in 4 weeks and think that with a ship that size, we may need a way to find each other now and then.

Is the date on the box December? Or is the date December with the 3-month extension? Both Optum and Emed had the tests listed as expiring in early February just a few weeks ago. Emed is currently sending tests with a November 2022 expiration date and Optum still has tests that expire in early February according to the "Test Expiration" thread in the People Connect section.

In 2018, We received a refund for two missed ports in the form of onboard credit (weather & rough waters). Whatever onboard credit we had remaining after the cruise was refunded to the credit card we had on file. FYI: We also received port fee refunds for the missed ports.

FYI: I received no shipping information from Emed for our tests and they showed up on our doorstep 3 days after ordering. (2 days, 23 hours, 53 minutes to be precise! ) -

Yours expire that soon @SpeedNoodles? I ordered a week later on Emed and ours have 11/2022 expiration dates on the box 1. Purchased from: Emed 2. Order date: Monday, December 20th (11:03am) 3. Approval date: Monday, December 20th (11:17am) 4. Shipped date: No Shipping Notice Given. Must have been Wednesday, December 22. (Was informed on Monday 12/20, 8:54pm that "Due to FedEx’s limited capacity as a result of the holiday shipping surge, your test kits may be delayed by up to 4 days") 5. Received date: Thursday, December 23 6. Expiration date: November 6, 2022 As long as neither of us has to use a second test, we'll have tests for our August Alaskan cruise. (Fingers crossed that the need for testing might be over by then) -
Does anyone know what it is that made this Hospital Ship chasing lawyer to be so against the cruise industry? Did he have a stateroom attendant that didn't make him enough towel animals?

Covid Test Harder To Get/Come-By
SPS replied to not easy being green's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
One thing I forgot to add: I did NOT receive any tracking info. They just simply showed up this morning. Luckily, I'm working from home this week and saw an unexpected FedEx van pull into my driveway. It's in the 20s here temp-wise and certainly didn't want the tests to possibly get damaged (the testing fluid, in particular) by the cold and be rendered useless.
