  1. yes its like NextCruise- they just seem to offer good things on the ships
  2. Springhill Suites is nice but a little more money and then Rivers Edge I like too - I'll have to keep in mind Sophie's station as an option too - great topic
  3. I am booked on a 3 night Equinox in January I have sailed both Celebrity and Azamara. I love the more 'upscale" feel of both I guess and the wine selections, which for me are important tend to be a little better. Azamara is just lovely and easy. And the Captains on these ships have the ability to make their own changes in weather etc or based on client's wishes wish happened on our Cruise - he stayed in port longer because of a big parade going on in town that so many guests wanted to attend and we just departed a little later.
  4. Awesome choice - Panama is on my list of places I want to go
  5. Agree I think when you actually break the options out the Go Best really is a great value AND if you are ever onboard sailing, try to rebook then, they seem to give even more perks and better prices especially if booking farther out
  6. Yay glad its nice and you are having fun
  7. Your documents (PHOTO ID) has to match the name you sail with. This is for Customs. They screen the manifest 72 hours prior to the ship sailing - I agree it would be nice to have a preferred name area, but that will never happen since its a legal thing with immigration etc. etc.
  8. I would look at www.shoretrips.com or if I can help you I'm happy too. They offer alternative shore trips, and sometimes for less, but are very professional and I have used them many times.
  9. I have never booked a Land & Sea with Universal. Honestly I think its better to book them separately The reason is, if the parks actually go on sale (Disney included) you cannot get that sale usually if you are booked land/sea. I've done a lot of Land and Sea options and work with Disney as well, and most clients prefer this. its pretty seamless too depending on what you want Hope this helps and February is a great time to go, if you travel before 2/14 prices are even lower.
  10. Thank you for the shout out and happy to help with all your details anytime
  11. All the of our agents do work hard to monitor all pricing and sales for you once you are MEI clients AND we appreciate the support of some many Royal Caribbean blog clients and always are looking for new one's - and sometimes TA don't work out to be a 'perfect" match which is why we have a team of many here! HAPPY Mid-July! BTW a TIP - Alaska Cruises is a hot market for 2017 and 2018. Reminder to book shore tours early if you do have cruises, cause we have seen some start to get full.
  12. totally agree with Matt - depends on what you do! if you don't have a drink package you can spend on drinks, ship store and shore tours seem to be the biggest item for me - I tend to spend about $300 on 7 night sailings cause I don't get the drink packages, just fyi.
  13. Sorry - Hilton Miami Downtown 1601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, Florida, 33132, USA
  14. if you want to see the new future of crazy cruise ships go watch the video of the new Celebrity EDGE coming in 2018. Now that is going to be a ship.
  15. pamw -this is the biggest reason I tell older clients to get cruise insurance Yes the PASSENGAR pays for the helicopter, and if they are not insured, and/or do not have the credit on hand, they will not send a helicopter out - this does happen. And yes it costs between $35,000 - $50,000 depending on where you are for the flights.
  16. yep- airline term - and these can be really good cruises that start and end somewhere different I agree DocLC
  17. Hmm Just listened to a podcast from Norwegian and they are sailing here also and it will be all inclusive on the Sky (drinks included) and they over night in Cuba...now that is tempting. Will wait for the next time they roll out sailings and see how these first one's go...
  18. Yep will forward information about the programs and the room when I'm sailing next week.
  19. Hi Going to try a Boardwalk balcony on the Oasis of the Seas, Nov 27th to see about the Eat/Play/Dine amenities they are offering and see if the all work well and are easy. Just wandering since these begin on Nov 5th if anyone else has a Central Park Balcony or Boardwalk balcony if they can post reviews before I get on - other wise I will. Agent at Royal told me for the Johnny Rocket's meal etc I will be given onboard credit on my account, rather than a coupon or voucher - HMM
  20. look under the Beverage package area too - I thought I saw dining package pop up there recently If not call the cruise planner help line and they can do it for you on the phone, same discount cost 800 - 762-0585
  21. Majesty of the Seas is departing Port Canaveral now on Saturday Oct 8th - since the port is closed I figured you have this information but just in case someone else does not OBC is being give to guests based on the cost of that one day cruise fare they are missing. This will be done on the ship Future Cruise credit of 33% also will be given to guests. Look for a letter in your cabin onboard Actually I have now seen two ships cancel and one ship the Disney Magic do a complete itinerary change Just hoping Port Canaveral does not have too much damage to it or too big of waves for the ships to return Saturday
  22. super cool having another ship in Bayonne - and love the freedom as a choice
  23. that is so cool - had not noticed that either = thanks for posting it
  24. Oh Paul Gauguin and Tahiti are some of my favorites bcarney!!!
