So last night, at about 2 a.m., my wife was woken up by a sound coming from downstairs. So of course she woke me. It freaked us out bad. It sounded like someone was downstairs watching TV. I get to our bedroom doorway and tell the Mrs. to get the gun!! As I stand there waiting for her return, I'm listening intently and recognize a voice! It was Michael Poole talking!!!!!!!
 
Turns out my tablet was charging in the kitchen and somehow the Periscope app opened and played the pool party Michael attended the previous night!! Unbelievably bazaar!!

Looking though my RC C&A email during lunch today and low & behold it was about the social media group that was on Empress a few weeks. Yes, hook line and sinker hooked, I felt so welcome on Enchantment.  I prepaid gratuities but ended up leaving our attendant another $50 because he was so great.  One morning he asked if we needed anything, all we had was flavored tea in the room so I asked if he could get me some Earl Grey tea.  We came back to the room and there was 40 packs of Earl Grey tea.  Now this was a grand suite, does that have anything to do with it?  This time since kiddies are going and it isn't our anniversary we opted for a promenade room, I hope the service is comparable.  The info on Jamaica saddens me a little.  We stopped at Nassau on the last cruise and I have never felt so pressured as I did in the straw market, surely it's not that bad.  When we did Coco we got on the first tender and came back with the crew on the last tender.  We loved it, and I've heard Labadee is even better.

Also - try asking for the shot of the day after dinner. Usually a dessert-type shot served in a Royal Caribbean shot glass you have the option of purchasing. 
 
I've heard not ALL ships do this, but we did it on Indy each night after dinner after noticing a tray of yummy looking shots pass our table. 
 
If you have the drink package, you can get just the shot and not choose to buy the glass and it'll be included. 

Even better: Sabor margarita glass

And instead of using a bottle of champagne, you bust a Starbucks glass on the hull and everyone toasts with Lava Flows and Honey Stung Chicken
