  1. He should've changed his name to "Mullet"
  2. Oh Dear God no ...... I was referring to THIS Cyrus ---- Can You Dig It?
  3. He is my Hero --- He is the ultimate ..... He's like Cyrus in the movie The Warriors, only still living.
  4. What i thought interesting is that it may work against those booking cruises while on board a cruise for a date that's way out, when the passenger knows they intend to move it further out once a new season of itineraries open up ... For example, you're on a cruise now, book a cruise for Spring of '19 for the on board credit ..... but have no intention of actually cruising then, just hold the booking until Fall of '19 opens up and move it there. There you would have to pay a penalty fee.
  5. I brought my own Old Bay on the ship just to be safe ...
  6. When we went to Bermuda last September (out of Baltimore) --- We literally were on the heals of a hurricane (Karl ) on the way out --- it was a little rough ... but nothing to, to bad. But, on the way back ..... smooth as glass ..... Mark
  7. Nice ... Thanks Matt ... I remember the guy walking around balancing whole pineapples on his head during the first sea day ..... I think we may have to partake. Mark
  8. I couldn't agree more --- in fact, I heard Marley's "Three Little Birds" on the way in this morning..... always puts me in a good mood.
  9. You just made me laugh ..... Go off topic, stay on topic, I don't care. I just love the interaction...
  10. As one who loves Grandeur .... We found the best to come out of the Solarium Bar Add a little Old Bay and you have a Bloody MaryLand Ignore our hair .... but we were in total Vacation AND Bloody Mary mode last September on Grandeur
  11. I believe, the CD is Paul Rutter --- To my knowledge, Tonya Yates is the AM up till July --- After that, we're hoping Andre Miller will be back, HE'S AWESOME!!!! He and the Mrs. just became proud parents so that's where their priority lies these days (And it should be)
  12. Oh yes, the "Nonni" version from the Poseidon Adventure. Thank goodness for Mr. Martin, the haberdasher, for coming to her rescue.
  13. We all know the power that music has when it comes to taking us places or to times and events in our past ... The question is - what music or particular songs put you in the cruising mood? The reason I ask is, I just purchased our Voom and Drink Packages for our September Cruise and the first song to come on Pandora was Bob Marley's "3 Little Birds" -- How appropriate. That's one of our songs that takes emotionally on a Cruise. Mark
  14. No Way --- That's news to me ..... I would've figured Enchantment was coming back up north, just like it did back in '12
  15. Which leads us to the most obvious question .....What's going on with Enchantment?
  16. Best Cruise Ever? That's easy .... last September on Grandeur to Bermuda ... My criteria is very simple ..... the ability to decompress from the world .... September of 2016 was a tough one because of how hateful the world was leading into the election .... The ability to remove Clinton, Trump, ISIS, Black Lives Matter and all the other hate filling the airwaves was more valuable than I ever would have expected .... It wasn't until we got back that I realized how amazing it was to take a break from it all .... DECOMPRESSING FROM THE WORLD is my #1 Priority.
  17. First of all --- CONGRATULATIONS!!! Here are my thoughts on a couple of your items .... First, how early can you board? That number can change with every cruise, but for the most part, once they clear everyone off the prior cruise, they're real quick at letting the next group on ..... a general rule of thumb would be, get there around 10:00. Even if you get an email giving you specific boarding times, THOSE ARE JUST SUGGESTIONS!!! 10:00 seems to be a good rule of thumb. Why would you want to arrive any later? The sooner you get there, the sooner your vacation begins. Like Toodle said above, if you can drink 5-7 drinks a day, EVERY DAY!!!! The drink package makes sense. The real question to ask yourself is, CAN YOU KEEP UP THE PACE? For my wife and I, it was an easy decision when we thought about a couple of Bloody Mary's in the morning, a little something, something with lunch, then with dinner and the evening, we were home free. Always, remember, you CAN'T use the drink package off the ship (except at Coco Cay & Labadee). Also, when possible, always make purchases BEFORE the cruise, it's always less expensive to pre-purchase things like drink & internet packages, spa treatments and such.
  18. I would think the best way to approach this would be to have an early flight ..... the chance of your flight being messed up by late flights earlier in the day decreases and the weather would most likely be better (vs. the normal afternoon thunderstorm) ---
