  2. Just a quick heads up... our TA was able to reprice this sailing twice in the last week! It's worth checking if you haven't yet. That was a super cool surprise!
  3. 15 days to go! I was unaware when I started this roll-call thread, but Grandeur is getting a light touch-up in dry dock right now and apparently just has one sailing between getting out of dry dock and our embarkation. How exciting!
  4. I do understand about combining offers and I know this particular code (1 COMPLIMENTARY GUEST IN DOUBLE OCCUPANCY) is for a single traveler... so if I redeem it and am sailing alone, I just pay taxes and port fees, but if I redeem it and am traveling with a +1, I pay taxes and port fees and the +1 pays full single fare. What I'm trying to find out is if that +1 full fare can been "purchased" with a point redemption from my RCL credit card. In other words, does Royal see a point redemption bring used like they would combining with another offer or do they see it as a form of payment like cash, card, etc. I know I can call and sit on hold to ask RCL, I just thought someone in the forum may know. No biggie. I'm not a huge fan of the "1 COMPLIMENTARY GUEST IN DOUBLE OCCUPANCY" offers because I always travel with my wife. We just had one of these expire for Utopia that I really wanted to use, but wasn't willing to pay the full Utopia just-launched-shiney-new-rate for the second happy cruiser in the cabin. I realize I have enough points accumulated to have comped that second person with a point redemption, but it didn't occur to me until after the offer expired. I'm tryin' to plan ahead!
  5. I'm fairly new to this, so please excuse the ignorance. It would seem that the "1 COMPLIMENTARY GUEST IN DOUBLE OCCUPANCY" offer code is redeemable for one cruise fare in a double occupancy cabin. The second occupant (guest) would pay the published rate for the other single fare. I went back and read through the Casino Royale terms and conditions (via menu option on clubroyaleoffers page) and didn't see this mentioned, but perhaps I missed it. At any rate, my question is this: If my wife redeems a "1 COMPLIMENTARY GUEST IN DOUBLE OCCUPANCY" offer code and I am the guest... AND I have a Royal Caribbean credit card with sufficient earned points for either cruise discount (individual or shared credit) or cruise vacations credit... may I use points reward to pay the fare? -or- Can neither the casino offer code or the credit card reward redemption be used in conjunction with one another? Thanks for sharing your experience... I appreciate the help! /c
  6. I had heard this as well... and after a quick check, RCL already has several 2026 dates available for booking: Allure out of Galveston 2026: March 17 - 22 (5 night) March 22 - 29 (7 night) March 29 - April 5 (7 night) April 5 - 12 (7 night) April 19 - 26 (7 night)
  7. This cruise is a big birthday celebration cruise for a friend of ours and we're bringing a bunch of folks with us... should be an awesome time! Looking forward to meeting y'all! /c
  8. My wife and I always try to remember to take photos of our point balance periodically throughout the sailing now and were even encouraged by the casino manager to take photos of point balances "just in case". We recently had an issue where she had about 660 points from a Voyager sailing that weren't showing up for months. She had a photo of her final balance on that cruise that helped get it resolved, but it did take about 3 months and multiple (multiple) inquiries into status before the reconciliation was done. We were sweating it for a while because she was 14 points from Prime and it was mid-March before they "fixed" it... which, of course, validated her tier credits mere weeks before the reset.
  9. I hope you are correct and they restored it to service. Please keep us updated! My wife and I would like to book another cruise on Harmony and it would be great if this is available again. Have a wonderful sailing!
  10. We were on Harmony recently (January 21-28) and were told onboard that it was permanently closed/no longer available. I hope that isn't the case, but you can try checking deck 14 outside Adventure Ocean. We were looking forward to trying it... but no love. Cheers!
  11. This will be our first time on Mariner. Looking forward to it! /c
  12. My wife and I just made Platinum on our last cruise. I'm kinda looking forward to the photo discount when we sail again next month. That said, the real perk that provides the most value to me personally is the adult beverage perk at Diamond. We have a ways to go, but it is what I am most looking forward to as we slowly achieve Crown & Anchor tiers. I don't have much experience cruising outside of RCL, but I have found the onboard experience on every Royal ship I've been on to be amazing. I'm very happy with RCL.
  13. First time on Grandeur... or even this class of ship... and first time sailing out of Tampa! My wife and I sailed on Serenade for our anniversary and I fell in love with the smaller ships. I am super-excited for this sailing! Anyone have some tribal knowledge about sailing out of Tampa that is worth sharing? We fly in on Saturday for the Monday embarkation. What are your favorite things to do in the area while you wait to board? Looking forward to seeing all y'all underway! /clayton
