If you get a chance go to the dog house on the board walk.  Its free and they have some good hotdogs.

That's tricky... I'd call just to check but if the final payment date hasn't past (I know you said you paid in full) you might be able to get some of it back.  They don't have a price guarantee like Carnival.  Anything is worth a call if it will save money.  If they won't budge, maybe they can give you a perk somehow.   I've been caught with a lower price after the final payment and it does make you mad cause you know they wait until that date to lower the price..

Not all food is 24/7 but the pizza is late.  The Cruise Compass will tell you the hours.  Anything you receive (buy one get 1/2 off another and any other deals) are on your sea pass card. You can go to guest services to see what if available and I think some bars can print them.  Room service is late also but I think after midnight there is a cost.

I book my own cruises.  I like to be able to control them, had issues with a TA and wasn't happy with the outcome. Don't worry, they usually send an email when payment is due.

That doesn't bother me as much as someone who goes behind closed doors and brings my food out... Like the song goes, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors...

I have a hard time talking my wife into the windjammer for dinner.  She really like the MDR.  We do go once or twice during a cruise but its like pulling teeth.  I like the variety and the fact I don't have to sit for 2 hours and lets face it, I'm not a people person....

Welcome, since you play hockey you will probably be disappointed by the ice on the ship.  Its not very big and there is no Zamboni to clean it.  Not sure how they do it.  I used to skate back in the day, played hockey when I was 13, personally, I wouldn't carry my skates.  Save the room and the weight.  But if you really want to by all means bring them.
Cozumel is a good place, they don't hound you like Jamaica.  There are good excursions and plenty of places doing scuba.  Just make sure you get a boat trip, we did one off the beach and it was all rocks.

We've done Sabor on Oasis and Freedom.  Difference is one is al a cart (Oasis) and the other is a restaurant (Freedom).  In short, we weren't disappointed by either but I prefer the restaurant.

debinaz, in a word no.  They will have you pour it out before you get back on board.  You can bring on all the sealed liquor you want but nothing you are drinking.

They usually have an electronic menu outside of the MDR and various places around the ship (most by the elevators).  But they only show that days menu.

Early is good, I'm always early too.  But be prepared to stand and maybe even in the sun.  oh, you might even have to fill out a waver once you get there.  My advice is answer it like you want to go.  Once my wife was filling out one (I think it was for snuba) and it asked about heart problems in her family.  Her father had a heart attack a while back and she mentioned it, they told her she can't participate.  They did let her fill it out again.

I usually only read the middle (2,3,4 stars) when reading reviews.  I feel like you get a more honest opinion from those people.  Something to remember, there are some people who will never be happy unless you have kissed every inch of their backside and gave them all their money back.  Not saying some aren't legit, I have had issues from time to time but I would let them know in the survey.   My last cruise was on the Oasis last month, had a horrible time but it had nothing to do with the staff, it was the passengers.  Was the worse cruise we've been on but still had some fun once we got away from the idiots making it bad for us.
