For me it is usually the frozen mojito.....or sometimes just a cold beer depending on how the night before went..lol.
I go for a long island ice tea. The last couple cruises I tried to get a mojito but they never had the mint and would't make one. Took hours until any bar had it.

We started on Carnival but my brother in law (who was diamond at the time now D+) talked us into Royal. Now we are so close to diamond I want to get there but I will explore others after that. Looking at Holland America first then we'll see after that where I go. Not too crazy about Royal nickel and dime us but guess thats where they are all going.

Because you can use phrases such as "Geez! It's F""in hot out here!" or "I hate the Sh***y humidity"
More like when will these snow birds head back north...

Hi, Amber. Welcome aboard to our online "family"!
OK, @arebee, I know you're ex-military and cursing probably comes as naturally as breathing at this point. How does being in Florida enhance that?
I live between Tampa and Orlando... Easy access and can go at a moments notice... Yes, ex-Navy so this stuff is in my blood...

Welcome... Being in Florida does have its advantages when it comes to cursing..

If you're talking about the casino in Tampa, that would be a maybe (I assume you didn't mean the one in Universal, don't thing they have a casino). Its about 2 hours from the port. So if you want to spend half the time getting there and back, give it a try. But you'll have to rent a car and hope the orlando and tampa traffic is moving, only take one person with a flat tire to stop I4 in both directions.

Never been on it but usually in the description it would tell you if you needed shoes. If you wanted to save space, you could wear your sneakers on board and pack your flip flops. Or put them in a carry on.

Do first time RC cruisers get anything"free". Like any perks?
I don't remember but I want to say no. But unless you get to the upper tiers the perks are ok at best. Of course unless you're in a suite, but I wouldn't know about that.

Thank you. That's what I figured.
One thing I forgot, if you are on something like the Oasis class you will have to reserve a time to go to the shows. They will scan your cards but after the show starts anyone can get in.
-
Don't think you have to worry, the shows aren't assigned seating. So as long as you get there the same time (or close) you should be fine. Unless someone is in a suite, they will have their own seating.

Cruise Terminal 6 has been refurbished and is used by Empress, don't know if it's also used by Rhapsody. Go to https://www.porttb.com/cruise.
On that site you can also reserve and prepay valet parking, drop off car right at terminal and have it delivered upon your return. We use it every cruise, very convenient! Enjoy your trip!!
Now thats interesting, have to try that next time.

Well, I spend a lot of time in the Schooner. Not a lot of noise in there and usually only a piano player during the day or evening. And on the Oasis, its a smaller bar. I wouldn't worry about the noise too much, even during the day.

Which ships is the mystery dinner offered?? i have never seen it so I am guessing i've never been on the right ships :)
I want to say Freedom, but can't remember. Seen it twice, once is enough since it was the same show and the same murderer. But the food was good and its something to do on the first night to get the cruise off on the right foot.

The only form you will need to fill out at the pier is the "I haven't been sick for two weeks" form. As for the porters, we usually tip about $2 a bag, I suggest bringing small bills anyway for things like tipping (bar tenders really love it) and stuff in the ports.

How do the pics get on the cards? Do you have to upload it or get it taken on board?

In case anyone from RC reads this...My vote goes to the WOW bands and sea pass cards. When I get on board my phone gets put on lockdown, I don't want to have to use it for everything on board.
I'm there with you, I don't want to carry that thing around. Maybe they will give options.

We had the aft on Freedom, would love to have it again.. Larger balcony and room....

I've heard they weren't too good, at least you don't feel like you have to tip...
