  1. Consider resort day passes at your own risk since Puerto Plata would be better off avoided in my opinion. The port at this place offers all kinds of activities independently so one does not need to buy a resort access pass. To explore day passes at other ports visit ResortForADay or ResortPass and see what sites you can access. Make sure you check carefully because some resorts have hidden costs so understand what's included before you book.
  2. I wouldn't bother with Hooked if it's your one specialty. If you're into seafood, maybe, but it’s not really standing out from what I've heard. Coastal Kitchen's already got you covered, so I’d try something else for your special night.
  3. Honestly, I wouldn’t stress about it. The cruise port is nowhere near the fires, and most of the spots people actually visit in LA are fine. Your trip should be good to go.
  4. I’ve been to Germany a few times in the last few months and I’ve used this eSIM Germany, it’s pretty good and convenient. The most I use is the 10GB plan for $18. I think it’s a good deal, especially since I don’t have connection issues.
  5. Hey! Yeah, booking a car service from the airport to Ravenna is a great idea. You can try companies like Tuscany Car Service, Ravenna Shuttle, or Viator. They offer private transfers from Bologna Airport to Ravenna. Also, check with your hotel if they offer shuttle services or can recommend a reliable car service. Staying in Ravenna the night before the cruise is a good call, too. You'll get to relax and explore the city before your cruise.
  6. Hey there! Congrats on your Elite+ status! For internet pricing, it depends on your usage. If you're a moderate user, the pre-cruise discount might be the way to go. But if you need a lot of data, the onboard 35% discount with 240 free minutes could be a better deal. Rough estimate: pre-cruise discount might cost around $120-180 for a 7-day cruise, while the onboard discount could bring the price down to around $130 for a $200 package. Consider your needs and calculate the best option for you. You can always top up onboard if needed.
  7. Yorkey's Knob is a tender port, so you'll likely be taking a tender boat from your cruise ship to the shore. Since you have an overnight stay, you'll probably have plenty of time to enjoy the area without feeling rushed. Just be sure to check with your cruise line or the ship's daily schedule to confirm the tendering process and any specific instructions they may have.
  8. Backpacks are the best for me. Have like 4-5 of them. The only backpack that I don't have is a leather one. So I plan to buy one. Already picked: https://vonbaer.com/products/liberty-mens-leather-backpack. Can't wait to see and touch it.
  9. Sorry for reviving this thread. I've been using a duffel bag from Amazon for a few years now for my cruise carry-on, but it's starting to show its age. I'm on the hunt for a replacement and leaning towards getting this leather bag. It's definitely more expensive, but I believe it'll be worth the investment. It's made of full-grain leather, so it should last for many years.
  10. Maybe on their official websites
  11. typically spend around 1.5 to 2.5 hours
  12. You can try Hotel Grifo. It is beautiful and close to the colosseum and the station
  13. I stumbled upon this trying to assess the aft cabins on Odyssey. It would be a new thing for us (family of four with a tween/young teen). It would be same cabin but on deck 11 - I assume it would be a little shorter (some extra space but not the 6 feet noted above). That is nice but not a reason unto itself. The view looks cool - not the straight down to water that I am used to, but unique and a little cleaner as I am not surrounded by 60 cabins on either side of me. What is the main allure for an aft cabin? Just the wake?
  14. I am interested in any feedback on 11326 or 11328 - they appear a little longer (not sure how great a benefit that will be). Balcony about the same. Views of wake a plus, but cannot look straight down to the water. Longer walk to some locations on the ship. Yet people love aft balconies - thoughts?
  15. Leaving 10/15 on Symphony. I googled a few minutes and found several "pay per test" options between FLL and POM.I suspect the same as we have these options in Indy (smaller metro area). Please Please google this and have a plan B. Not cheap but if CVS botches your test and you are on a plane, don't as facebook or this blog where to go.
