  1. They were there in January; great spot for a picture. Right across from where you get on the pier to return to the ship.
  2. That's a bad little drone you got there, pal...
  3. How about Schenectady? I hear it's nice this time of year... Hey, I'm just tryin' to help....
  4. WOW!! What spectacular pictures! You have a wonderful eye, and a beautiful family!! Come on Canada - pull for the 'NING!!!!!
  5. As coney said - this is precisely why you want to do Nachi - they limit how many guests they get per day. So, no matter if you're the first or the last ship in port, it won't get so crazycrowded. The food and drink were great, too!
  6. Y'all are gonna have a blast!! We took this same itinerary in Jan and loved it! Labadee was much more impressive than I was expecting!
  7. When we went in Jan, I was quite pleasantly surprised at how tasty the hot dogs and burgers were. I'm ordinarily not a fan of the pic-i-nic variety of those, but they were great.
  8. Okay, I remember your blogs from there, now. Having only been on Freedom and Oasis classes, this place was foreign to me. Looks pretty cool!
  9. So, what is 270? Is this something also on Oasis? Is it a place where brass-level C&A members are allowed to go? Sounds spiffy.
  10. You mean early, early as in about 9:30?
  11. My kingdom for a punctuation mark!!!
  12. That fog is gloomy, but sure makes for some beautiful photographs! Glad y'all made it home safely. Thanks for the great (as usual) blog!
  13. Thanks to you and Poole, you might as well have done this to me...
  14. Poor Matt was so distraught that he had to go tie one on! His podcast was hilarious.
  15. Just a really nice video from the NY Times OpDocs series on RC's own Super Mario Salcedo. The Happiest Guy in the World Thanks to the RC Crown and Anchor Society Facebook page!
  16. I've never sailed less than 7 days, so I'm not sure about getting a drink package on a 3-dayer. It looks like you'll leave at 4pm and arrive Nassau the next morning. If you're in Nassau all day, that's pretty much a whole day you'll miss on the package. The next day is Coco Cay, but the drinks will be covered by the package. then you return to Canaveral at 7 in the morning. Unless you have a high tolerance, or can really toss 'em back, I'd probably not go with the package (although I don't know how much the package costs). Regardless, you will have a lovely time! I'm just mad because I was in my 50s before I found cruising!
  17. If you buy the package at $45/day and can't break at least even (esp with the coffees and fresh squeezed OJ) - you're doing it wrong!! Now I'm a bigger guy, but i easily come in the black....and I never get drunk. In '16, my back was just ruined, and I was in a lot of pain, so I tried to drink as much as i could in an effort to get drunk, and couldn't. Throw in the pre-paid convenience and it's a no-brainer for me. Heck, even my wife broke even, or darn close to it.
