The Independence was my 1st ever cruise so it's always going to have a special place in my heart.

I am unable to add anything to my watchlist or heart list. I'm signed in. Grr.

Because people will pay it. And they are in it to make money. I agree the prices are crazy though. I keep checking daily for a sale and when that happens I plan on jumping on it because I truly love the cabanas.

Oh if only I could afford more! It's probably going to stay once a year for us for the foreseeable future. Trying to talk husband into selling the RV and switch to cruising more instead.

We did not get one on Independence in February.

I tried to order coffee from room service at 5 or 5:30 and was told they couldn't bring it until they started serving breakfast. I was very upset and had to send my husband out to find me some in the meantime. For that reason alone we are staying in a JS next time just for the coffee in the room.

I love seeing so many other people who aren't on social media. Sometimes I feel like the only person around who doesn't have one. Feels like I came to the right place here!

Omg did you really?! My husband joked he was going to bring a collapsible fishing pole on our last cruise so he could do the same.

19 pools?! Wow! I would love that. I wonder if you'll actually be able to get a chair by the pool then.

Last time I had a balcony and I called room service at 5:30 in the morning to ask for coffee and they said they couldn't bring it till they started serving breakfast at 6:30. That right there sold me on a suite for my next cruise.

My budget won't let me live the suite life. Well any higher than JS anyway. But I do have a JS booked for my next cruise. As long as I get the coffee maker in the room and double points I am a happy camper!

Same thing happened to me on Independence last month. I order the bag with Diet Coke and when we got to our room there was only the Diet Coke sitting on the dresser. No note or anything. I had to go to Guest Services to ask about my bag and was eventually told they were out of stock and she would issue me a refund towards OBC. It really made me wonder if I hadn't gone to Guest Services I wouldn't have received any money back.

When I rented a cabana it didn't give me an option but maybe that's something guest services can help with. I want to request the same cabana attendant I had last time because he was fantastic and just made our day perfect but I am not sure how to go about that either. He said we can request him but I can't remember how he said to.

Are the robes really that good? Like $60-$80 good?! I am intrigued!

Thanks to this thread I just booked my next cruise using Ashley Bittenbender at MEI. She's super! Very patient answering all my questions and very quick to respond.

Dang I was really hoping Allure would have them since it's an Oasis class.

Completely off topic (even though I did wonder that same thing when we completed our survey) but I just wanted to say I love your signature pic/chart @PG Cruiser! Did you make that yourself? I want one lol.

Does anyone know if there are any casitas near the Solarium (on any of the ships) or are they all over on the family side? We don't have young children and much prefer the Solarium but weren't ever able to find chairs on our last cruise on Independence.
