I have noticed that in many photos I have seen, Emerald seems to be a pretty small group. Is it a short jump from emerald to diamond? I would think that it would continually decrease from gold, but emerald always seems to be this niche group of cruisers. Or is it because it's like the step off for cruising points, where you either stop cruising, or become a cruise for life person and keep moving up?
As the above chart indicates, the amount of points to move from platinum to emerald is the same as the amount to move from emerald to diamond. Once you hit diamond, you are stuck there for a number of cruises. Unless you chose to sail around the world for an entire year.

Also hopefully we can spare Bermuda long term, because I do love to cruise there and the people are super nice.

The ship was massive. I have only cruised Vision class ships where I memorized the layouts of the ships. Now I need a map to figure out just how the elevators work. Floor 18 is a pain to get to or from. We had an amazing experience at our first Top Tier event on Wonder of the Seas. We even were issued those Platinum Pins that have apparently been discontinued. I saw some of you there. Look at the stats. I look forward to actually introducing myself in the future. I wonder how you all deal with the elevators that are always filled with people or that don't travel to all the floors.

I will pray for the entire state of Florida as Hurricane Milton is already Category 4.

5 years ago I heard about a website that existed that was devoted to all topics related to Royal Caribbean. I didn't join immediately, I lurked as a guest for a while. The wealth of information and supportive community over the last 5 years has been instrumental in shaping how I cruise. And yes I know the site has been around longer than that, but I wasn't a part of it. Here's to another 5 years of what promises to be an enjoyable experience for the Royal Caribbean blog cruising experience!

Having just returned from the tropics, I can tell you I experienced amazing sunshine filled weather every day on Wonder of the Seas in my owner's suite. The only hurricanes to be found were at all the amazing bars. We dodged one hurricane landing in Orlando, and dodged another one on the way out.

Great news, our site is on the front page of Yahoo search. They cited Matt in the article. We are famous now people!

Port Canaveral is now receiving ships. MSC Seashore & Disney Wish are in the harbor, Utopia, Adventure, & Carnival Glory just offshore waiting their turn. Florida Today reports Terminal 3 is without power, but operating on backup generator.
Yep here is the full schedule with ETA for Port Canaveral

Well I hope everyone has emerged from this major hurricane without injury to person or property. It's getting awfully busy in October for tropical development.

We have been sitting here in Tallahassee watching all the storm chasers arrive. Publix and Walmart are closed but ABC Liquors is still open
It's extremely important for the morale of Floridians to have the ingredients necessary to make a proper hurricane.

I once attended a Back to the Future musical with a full orchestra playing the songs while the movie played. It was a magical experience. They even brought out some of the original cast for a Q&A. And on the street before we entered was a collection of several Deloreans on display.

Just look at this lot. This hurricane has sent everyone running for the Bahamas.

This is not available in many rooms, in fact not in most.
I found this topic from someone who asked it last year and take a guess which our famous cat people answered it.

I just checked my set sail passes for this week's trip in Apple Wallet, and there weren't any problems.

My favourite class of ship is Vision Class because they are the only ones to use my home of Baltimore. No other class of ships is allowed in port. I save on airfare, hotel, and shuttle fees.
My favourite ship in the class is Vision of the Seas, after which the class is named. Enchantment was a bit too long to walk through.
Smaller, more intimate ships with less frills are great for a relaxed vacation where I don't have to run all over the place trying to figure where on Deck I have no idea the show is at. Also I find it's easy for the waiters to locate me for alcoholic drink refills. You never have to fight for chairs on the pool deck with older ships.

Wonder of the Seas diverted due to pursuit by fleet of three enemy red Carnival ships...I mean because of the storm.

As someone who has sailed three times out of Baltimore where I live I will tell you because it's a secondary market for Royal Caribbean and it is a long distance from the Caribbean it will be unlikely that a short duration cruise will ever go to destinations other than Canada, Bermuda, and Cocoa Cay and Nassau.

The National Hurricane Center has created this cone of probability based on current model guidance for what is predicted to be named Hurricane Helene.

Dear me, poor Wonder of the Seas. I hope you avoid the worst of it.

Here you go, Tampa Bay created these new road signs to be deployed in the ocean to help hurricane Milton understand where to go.
