  1. Which ship? Anthem? For dining on the ship, ones included in the windjammer buffet, main dining rooms (you should pick your dining time). cafe 270, sorrentos, doghouse. If you haven't done so download the Royal Caribbean app, that'll show you the included ones. Have you done your checking yet? The app you can use it for online checkin. On the day of embarkation you can use it to do the online muster £400 to spend onboard, I guess depends on the person. For my wife and myself that is plenty, we usually get a few drinks a day, play bingo, grab lunch at Johnny Rockets once and by a few tshirts and things Dress code is mostly casual (shorts tshirt), some people dress business casual for the main dining room. You should be fine there. Everything onboard goes on your seapass card. Seeing you have booked excursions outside of royal, make sure you back one the ship at the specified departure time, the ship won't wait if your late. Also the you should follow is ship time, not local time. Whatever the time is on the ship, that's what you use. On your cell phone disable the auto time change and set you clock to the ship time. We always tried to by back on a the ship at least an hour early
  2. Can't say for the suite, but on our Wonder cruise last year we were maybe five rooms in from the suite on the boardwalk. It was loud, room shook. I found the music being played for the watershow on Wonder is louder and more constant than that of other Oasis/Allure. Also the show I think ran every night on Wonder (or pretty close to it), don't recall that on Oasis/Allure
  3. Like many said I just look at the price, not the percent off. Do that wherever I shop. I usually have a good idea of what the general/average price is before I go in and make my decision based on how the current price is (drives my wife nuts as I'm not an impulse buyer)
  4. We’ve done it a few times. Onboard charges aren’t linked, you specify the card to charge for each passenger on checkin
  5. I've had rye bread. Don't recall it in the WJ, but had it in the MDR for breakfast
  6. Have to agree. In hindsight I should have done anything else that night
  7. We're on this one, oldest son is tagging along. Trying to figure out what to do in Port Canaveral, maybe hit a seafood restaurant
  8. Care to elaborate what the frivolous charges were?
  9. Watching a news clip, they said power was was down for 8 minutes. That's not really even noticeable
  10. Has happened to us a few times, just got our TA to correct it, or you can probably call
  11. We've never done WJ for dinner. How is it? Better than lunch options?
  12. I wasn’t able to get it on my last few cruises. Said the bars don’t have it
  13. My experience I've had times where they were running ahead of schedule and were allowed to depart 30+ minutes before the scheduled time, other times right at the scheduled time and other times up to an hour late.
  14. Same here. On the news tonight local meteorologist said it’s easier to pick up with a camera. Mentioned if you can’t see them try to look at sky through your cell phone
  15. As mentioned might not be an apples to apples comparison on the room. The 3rd party TA group is probably going on group discount. Also for the room a balcony in one location doesn't equal a balcony in another. A room front of the ship will be cheaper than midship. A balcony on deck 5 might be cheaper than one of deck 8. When did you book your cruise? While I've never done this, my understanding is you can transfer your reservation to a travel agent within first 30 days or something. That might be a way to get your deposit transferred over and then repriced via this 3rd party company
  16. You can watch them now, but nothing is recorded. You’ll have to rewatch them the day of departure to get the ticky mark
  17. This happened to us on the Wonder last year, quite frustrating
  18. Unless it's a pretty significant itinerary change, I wouldn't hold my breath
  19. Would like to try it one day. I can see the pros and cons. I’m the early riser, but usually go to top to walk around and watch the sun rise
  20. We go with connecting staterooms, having that 2nd bathroom is a must.
  21. While not on the drink menu, I like a hummingbird (got the bartender to make one last cruise). Outside of that boring rum and coke
  22. I'd probably go with the owners suite as it's closer to the elevators. Which ship are you planning to go on? We were on the wonder with a boardwalk balcony a few rooms away from ATS. The water show itself became extremely annoying by day 2, being in the room when they show is going on isn't something you'll want to do (outside of the first time watching it)
  23. We'll be there around halloween (or so the wife tells me). Good that is sounds like it's still warm, not sure I'll go swimming though
  24. Was just about to post that. One cruise we had 2 pullmans and a sofa. My one son didn't want to sleep in the pullman so he sleep on the sofa.
  25. Only Royal IT can mess something up like this. Wondering if they've done something like changed the password policy (i.e. you need to have a special character in it), but don't want to code something that lets you login with old one and takes you to the change password page.
