Hi, I think the ship was too big. I think I prefer a medium ship. I was on the central park balcony on 11th floor. Yes it is crowded. On the other cruise cruise before, every evening when I get back to my room, I get cruise compass. For this, I didn't get anything at all.. I was very surprise. The food is just ok. I did wrote an review when I came back.. Breakfast & lunch at main diner wasn't good.. Other than that I enjoy my relaxing cruise.. Also, the only think I didn't like about it was the bathroom sink. Too small and too low. This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise. I have 3 more cruise coming up. Oct 22, 2022 Bermuda on Adventure of the Seas. April 23, 2023 Bahamas on Anthem of the Seas & May 11, 2023 Alaska on Ovation of the Seas. Hope they will be better than my first one.

Recently just got off Oasis of the Seas, 7-8-22 to 7-15-22. In the stateroom, I didn't get any cruise compass or any map. On the day arrived at CocoCay beach, I see some people holding CocoCay map. Did I miss anything? Shouldn't the house cleaning person issue them every nite in your stateroom when they cleaning your room? Did Royal Caribbean stop issuing out the cruise compass?

On my recently Oasis 7-8 to 7-15. I purchased Hennessey white on second day, of my cruise they told me they will deliver it to my room on my last day of sailing. Then day 4 at Bahamas bought some alcohol, while getting back on board, they took it and said it will deliver it to my room on last day. Then on 6th day, I went to buy more Hennessey white, the lady said I can pick it up next day after 10am. This was on a 7 night Bahamas cruise.

Just book another Solo for Anthem of the Seas for April 23, 2023 to May 1, 2023.

How about bring your own wine? You are allow to bring 2 bottle of 750ml wine on board. On my recent cruise, I bought two bottles of wines with me and bought it to my dinner on formal night. My waiter open them for me with no cork fee. Or you can drink them in your stateroom and ask your house cleaning person to bring you a corkscrew.

I guess we were on the same ship, I was at 11207. Yea, the first nite was disaster, I ordered my beer and 30 mins still haven't arrived, I check with my waiter, and he said the bar was backup due to first nite and short staff. The beer was $9.43 per bottle. The assistant waiter was no where to be find on the first 3 nites The 4th nite, we got a new assistant waiter, much better.. Drinks is not cheap, Unless you gamble a lot. Once you hit Prime, drinks are on the house at casino. On the 5th nite, I hit Prime, so the rest of the trip. Drinks were on casino. Of course dinner I still order beer, which is not bad.

I would recommend reserve all show and arrive 30 mins before show time to get a good seat. You can do all your reservation on your Royal apps once you get on the ship and connect to Wi-Fi.

What is the point of Pre-Cruise test? Our party of 13 was so stressful before the cruise, worrying and hoping all were negative before the cruise. We got off on Oasis of the Seas on 7-15. On debarkation day, one friend wasn't feeling. Got home and test positive. Then Saturday, got a text another 2 were text positive. Now just got another text another friend is test positive. So far 4 out of 13 of us is test positive.. Crossing fingers and hoping that's it. I been testing myself everyday also...

I am the type of person don't like to return food or waste food. If it's elidable I will finish it, unless if is really awful or taste bad, then I won't finish it. No I didn't try any of the concerts in central park, since I had a central park room. there's were time I listen the music. I also try the rising tide bar it was a fun experience. Wanted to try the bionic bar also, but the timing is never on our side. Hopefully I will get to try that next time.

My cruise background: 2 Carnival Cruise, 1 Disney Cruise and 1 Norwegian Cruise. I have high expectation from Royal Caribbean. Heard lots of things about Oasis of the Seas, Almost book Oasis, then pandemic came. This is my first cruise since Pandemic. Overall my experience: 7 Night Perfect Day Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas 7-8-22 to 7-15-22. I booked a Central Park Stateroom: Room is kinda small. Sink really low and small, you can't even fit a cup in there. But I do like the shower, the water pressure is strong and pretty roomy in the shower. Bed is comfortable, but my bedsheet is not clean. Cleaning person was friendly and nice. Food from Main Diner: Breakfast is horrible. I try pancake, waffle and French toasted, none of them taste good. French toasted very hard, sausage link was way too over cook Only thing good is Corned beef hash & coffee is strong. Lunch: After order food, still have to wait over 30 mins before food arrived. The two tables next to me came after me, and got their food before me and they left while my lunch arrived. Waiter claim they have to cook my fish. Isn't all food is pre prepare? Dinner: My waiter is really nice and good (Top Notch Service) His assistant was horrible (By Day 3, they replaced him, we got new assistant waiter). Dinner food was ok. WindJammer: After the first two days of horrible breakfast from Main Diner. The rest of the cruise day I ate at WindJammer. Breakfast was decent, Great service at their buffet. Waiter walking around offering drinks and picking up the empty plate. Lunch was pretty good. The burger was pretty juicy, their fish was pretty good also. Overall, their buffet is pretty good. Shore Excursions: Booked Blackbeard's Pirate Revenge - Cancel on the day aboard the ship, due to operational reasons. Booked CocoCay Helium Balloon - Went there, and was told cancel due to high wind. I didn't feel any high wind that day. Booked Sushi & Sake- Lunch on Day 6. It was for a special birthday lunch. Lucky we checked and confirm, cuz It got cancel and we didn't get any notice. Went to customer service and check, they call the restaurant and the lady answer the phone said 'It's cancel and nothing they can do, with a very rude tone of voice, and told us we got our refund. that's not the point. Shouldn't we get a notices? there were no notice in my room. Very sad and disappointed with this Oasis of the seas cruise. Nothing came out right. Yes, the ship is huge, there's Central Park & Boardwalk. I guess that's why they make the room kinda small due to a huge ship. Food was just ok. The only thing I like about it is the Aqua 80 show & the frozen in time. Both show was really good. Cats was boring. Most of my party left in the middle of the show, I was the only person stay and finish watching the show. Compare to other cruise I been on, this ship is not as good as others. On the other ship, during the formal night, all the waiter perform a show and dance for us. Especially on the last nite. On Oasis of the seas, they sing the 'Sweet Caroline' on the last nite of dinner. Overall, my first experience with Royal Caribbean is not that great. Hopefully my next two cruise with Royal will be better. Just got one from Oasis of the seas couple days ago from the Cafe Promenade.

Just got off Oasis yesterday, didn't see any discount. A bottle of Heineken is $9.43.

I went to NextCruise, and inquire about the offer I mention to the lady, I currently have a reservation, she said it only apply to the new booking. At the time of asking, book now with NextCruise 250 free play and free upgrade to ocean view. I asked how much will that be to upgrade to balcony, she said I have to call and ask for the price. She only do the booking. Then on the last nite of the cruise, tier point went up and the new offer was Book now with $250 free play with free upgrade to Balcony. If that was the offer when I visit NextCruise, I would have gone with that offer, since only pay for port fee and tax, and just cancel my current book. All I lose will be $250 deposit, which was worth it. Now I have to wait till Monday to call and ask what's the total price will be if I want to upgrade to balcony. If is not worth it, then maybe I can book a trip for April for Anthem of the seas. Hopefully they can apply this offer to my current reservation.

I booked an Alaska cruise, Ovation of the Seas Sailing on May 11, 2023.. Just came back from Oasis of the Seas, and I got a free ocean stateroom cruise offer from the casino. I am planning to use this free offer to rebook for the Alaska cruise, since it is part of the free cruise on the list. I know I need to pay for the port fee & upgrade fee to have a balcony. For this Alaska cruise, should I book on the Port or Starboard side? And what floor? My current booking is on 9th Floor Starboard side. Any advise? I know I will lose my current deposit since I booked thru cruise.com, but at the end, I think losing deposit and paying a cheaper cruise. Any suggestion? Thanks

From what I understand, it goes whatever your original booking is. If you win Royal up, you will still only get single point.

So far no luck. I haven't see my OBC credit in my account. Maybe is too late, since I will be sailing tomorrow. Or am I missing any other paper work? I email the PDF form and one TD Ameritrade with my name and address and the other one with the Purchased approved of the RCL stock. hmmm

Booked 8 days Ovation of the Seas for 5-11 sail from Vancouver to Alaska. Looking forward to it...

I just purchased some RCL stock today and emailed to [email protected] for this Friday 7-8 Oasis trip. Will see if I get them.. Wish me luck...
