  1. Question: Can you bring 1 full bottle of liquour on board? (Im talking about an ''Argentinian'' liquour we mix with coke called ''Fernet''.. lol) I know there's no such a kind of liquour on board and i've got pretty much addicted to it last few months haha!
  2. The answer is yes, you can stay in the same room without issues; but keep in mind only your husband and you will get the Suite Perks (i.e coastal kitchen; suite lounge...etc)
  3. We booked a GTY balcony on OY last september right after the restart and we got a Royal Up to a JS with the min bid.
  4. If you run out you could always buy some more while on board. Im certainly sure you could also get some Aloe Vera; either on board or at any port.
  5. A Star Class experience would definitely out perform the ship for me; when i graduated from college i had the one and only chance to cruise as a star class guest (Loft on allure, it was a present); game changer experience.
  6. We usually share our Diamond drinks with other family members while on board. Most of our group is usually D/D+ but my dad and my uncle drink a lot... xD!
  7. Correct; waiver signture would be required for minors to ride/use the attractions. Its a one time process; make sure whenever you go; to sign for them all and avoid coming back later for a different activity.
  8. My dad turned D+ when i was 19; all my brothers and my sister got the D+ status and i was stuck at Diamond (Still stuck, at 165 points by now). My fiance is Diamond now; as royal matched our status. Im certainly sure Pinnacle has to be self reached and is not ''matched'' with any other family member.
  9. You could always do the express disembarkation process; and walk out off the ship as early as possible (You'd need to carry your own luggage); i bet you'd be inside the Shuttle/Uber really fast and avoid any kind of lines.
  10. Step one for us is always head to the windjammer; and enjoy that first onboard meal with the group. I always wear a swimming short to ride the flowrider as early as i can (Early first day is always a good time to skip the lines, stand up flowrider is usually empty.. good tip if you want to try it!). Worst first day times for me are usually betweeen 4-5:30PM when everyone's around and ship gets crowded. At dinner time it gets pretty much back to normal; if your next day is a sea day i'd go for a Jacuzzi relax night; or gambling a couple rounds at the blackjack $10 table :)!
  11. after reading i figured the bologna airport would be a way better option in terms of distance, less than 1 hour drive/train. This is exactly what we needed, we heading to madrid first; taking a direct flight from Madrid to Bologna seems like the best option right now.
  12. We had an interior on OY last september and went up to a Junior Suite for a little bit over the min. bid price; we knew the reduced cappacity could give us greater chances and it did; if im not mistaken that sailing had around 800 passengers. Anyone know how prior you can get to royal up? We got a cruise in October 2nd fully paid and i've been trying to do it for quite a while now getting the 30 days message over and over; anxiety kicking in.
  13. I didnt know it was a 2 train ride, i thought it was just one. Thanks for clarifying this, hoping to see some reviews in the upcoming weeks to decide wether to arrive a day earlier to ravenna and sleep there or just head to the port from Venice which seemed like the best option by now.
  14. Just booked Explorer of the seas sailing from Ravenna in 2023; did anyone sail from this port? How close is Venice to Ravenna, and how would be the best way to get to the port from Venice? We are flying from Madrid to Venice and staying in Venice 1 day before sailing. First time heading to the greek islands for us!
  15. Go to aruba, and book the Flaming Excursion on board the ship! It goes to a beautiful island with a waterpark and flamingos! You could also book the rainassance day pass online which is also a great option! Aruba is a marvelous place, i've been there a couple times and its definitely worth it!
  16. We staying in NYC for a whole week before heading to the ship, that’s why we booked the hotel in Times Square; I might move my last night there from that hotel to Newark airport hotel Matt, that’s exactly the info I needed. Thank you so much, glad to be here.
  17. For the first time ever, we're going to cruise from Cape Liberty (Oasis of the seas, October 2nd!) I got a couple questions regarding this port, that i hope someone could answer: How far is it from Times Square (Our hotel is located in times square). Considering NYC can get really busy with traffic; would you recomend booking an hotel right near the port for the night before (This would mean leaving our Times square hotel for an hotel near the port to make sure we make it) or this wouldnt be needed? Thank you so much for reading, Octavio.
  18. After being a long time reader and an avid viewer of Matt's youtube channel, i decided to make an account! Octavio here, from Argentina! Started cruising back in 2006 when i was only 14 y/o! After that moment i couldnt stop. Im currently 29 with 20 cruises done so far and 165 points, so getting really close to Diamond plus! Did 2 cruises with my fiance since the covid restart, Odyssey (3rd sailiing right after it restarted, with an insanely low capacity) and Symphony. Booked Oasis from Cape Liberty (October 2nd..so close yet so far) to receive my 30th birthday - couple trip. And also Harmony on new years eve (Family cruise!) Im so glad to be here, Carla and myself love cruising and our goal is to hit Diamond plus asap, and slowly grind them Pinnacle points!
