So pretty - I cannot wait to get back to SXM. Theoretically we'll be there end of January next year and I can't wait. Oddly enough, I might be most excited about finally buying one of those framed Star Wars script pages that I passed on the last time I was there.

This is a good point - plus getting to Port Canaveral is a bit more of a pain than getting to Port Everglades or Port Miami if you're flying in.

It's definitely a new age of cruising no matter how you look at it! I could possibly be convinced to buy a formal night photo with our masks on by that logic - "remember our first vaccinated vacation?"

Arguably still less money lost than just having the ships hanging around empty.

These will be days of cruising that we remember, for sure. Just happy to have the opportunity to go!

I find it so funny that this post came back from the dead two years after I posed it, lol. Also, how much I've removed from my old "cruise kit" for my upcoming cruise. I basically only have my magnetic clips for hanging up papers and the USB outlet. Might grab the alarm clock too but that's about it.

I choose to remain optimistic. PR move? Sure. Good one? I think so. Anything that Royal can offer that makes the process easier with more peace of mind is a good thing for both them as well as their consumers.

I mean, that's a good thing right? Not marking up just for the 'peace of mind' that it's very certainly going to be accepted by the cruise line and you can be on your way to vacation?

Interesting - the beach club cabanas are showing for me at $999! If they let me pay the difference on board I'd absolutely upgrade for $199 for my husband and I... Prices are seemingly random and all over the place, huh? Or at least the pattern for demand isn't terribly clear.
