  1. Can you only reserve it once you get on board? Every time I try to add it under the cruise planner, it tells me something went wrong and to try again. The two people in my party do have MTD. I made sure of that
  2. Maybe this is my nerves making me over think this but when I was looking for cvs testing near me, one says not accepted for travel and the other days accepted for travel I have searched for only the antigen test. Is there more than one rapid antigen test? The top result is much closer to my house but I don’t want to go there if it won’t be accepted by Royal.
  3. We’re 30 days out for our second cruise. It’s our first one out of a bigger port. Our first cruise was out of Baltimore. We didn’t know how we would like cruising so we tried a smaller ship. I fell in love and can’t wait to be back on a ship. This cruise will be going to the Bahamas and Haiti. I booked us an excursion to feed sting rays and I simply can’t wait! I love being able to do things on a cruise that I normally don’t get a chance to in my normal life.
  4. I would love to know this as well. I sail on Mariner in the end of April. I can see Studio B on the Royal App. I was also able to look at the most recent Cruise Compass from Mariner and see that they did have shows listed. Royal’s website says the ice rink costs extra money. Can someone confirm how much extra per person? Is the cost for the show or the free skate or both?
  5. Does anyone have any experience getting reimbursed by CareFirst for buying the tests from Royal Caribbean's site? They seem expensive compared to other tests available. I'm heavily considering this option as my testing method for my upcoming cruise at the end of April. But I want to know if my insurance will cover the full amount or if they'll only cover a partial amount. I've looked at everything they have online but it only says they'll cover the cost of the test, taxes and shipping. I could absolutely see them only covering up to a certain amount because there are other tests available at a lower price.
  6. The app told me the exact day check in started.
  7. Have fun! I’ve still got 39 days! But the excitement is definitely building
  8. If Royal’s website shows that suites are sold out but you can still bid on them through Royal Up, does that mean they don’t have any to give out and it’s just a glitch in their system?
  9. We got the email later in the evening. Submitted three bids. Fingers crossed
  10. Questions about bidding. If you submit multiple bids on different rooms and they accept one of the lower options, can you go back and rebid on a higher room or are you stuck with the lower option? For example, a balcony versus a junior suite. This is our first time doing RoyalUp and we placed a bid on everything we could.
  11. We sail on April 23rd and haven’t heard anything from RoyalUp. The website says check back when we’re 30 days from sailing. We’re 45 days right now. I was hoping to put in a modest bid on an RoyalUp for the chance to upgrade. We’re on a GTY interior. You’re so lucky to get a RoyalUp so soon!
  12. I have a shore excursion booked at Port Canaveral for April 28th. It’s been booked for months and is not yet cancelled. I hope they don’t cancel it. Included in the excursion is transportation to the airport. I hope I’m not scrambling for last minute transportation.
  13. I’ve seen both happen. I started a new job and told them I had already paid for my cruise and gave them the dates I would be out. They said it was fine but I wouldn’t get paid for it. My mom started a new job shortly before her beach vacation last summer. Her new job told her they would have to move her from full time to part time to accommodate her request. I speculate it was more do to the employer over-hiring for the position (ER check-in) as her trainer told her they routinely over-hire due to a high turnover rate. Each job is different in how they handle it.
  14. Thank you so much for the quick reply!
  15. Hello everyone! My best friend and I are sailing in late April on the Mariner of the Seas. I've been reading recently that some ships are using tap for their SeaPass cards and therefore you can't punch a hole in them to hang off a lanyard. Can anyone tell me if there is a list somewhere that has all the ships using that or if anyone has been on Mariner recently and can tell me from experience? We've both been on cruises before out of Baltimore. This will be our first time leaving out of Port Canaveral. As the time ticks down, I'm getting more and more excited but also nervous about all the details. I was planning on making us custom lanyards for this trip. Thank you in advance for all your help! :)
