slots by far give you the most points.  I disagree how they do the points on card games and craps but my opinion doesn't change things!

So would you say the higher slots or doesn't it really matter? I've never played slots before. There's too many to decide on which ones to play and they seem complicated.

It happens all the time. In fact, I am sailing today & still may be upgraded at the port based on the email I received from Royal up from OS to RS. This has been the case a couple times where we get into our stateroom and I receive an email that the Royal up is accepted and my sail & sign card has been charged. They send you to guest services to get a new key.

But I wonder if I ask for an upgrade at the check in counter if they would give it to me?

If you are going to any uncrowded beach, always make arrangements for a taxi back.  I like to arrange a pickup time, or get a cell number to call your driver back.

    Good to know. Thanks

I took a taxi to Love Beach a few years ago.  Very reasonable, and the beach was empty when I got there.  I would recommend going if you aren't afraid of hopping in a local taxi to get there.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the place I want to be. An uncrowded beach.

  5. So I know that you connect your seapass to a credit card, to use for spending on the ship, but has anyone ever tried to use a prepaid card to use with the seapass? I don't want my kids to go crazy or if they would happen to lose it, someone couldn't drain their account.

  6. Thinking of going to Love Beach on Nassau. Has anyone ever used the local bus or transportation system, and how easy was it? Also, I chose Love Beach because it looks pretty nice and less populated with tourists, because it's kinda out of the way. Any opinions on this beach?

Even number indicates a capacity of 2 guests.  Odd number something other than 2 guests such as 3, 4 ot 5 guests but this varies on different ships.

The number, higher or lower can be location or other aspects such as being an aft balcony, more central, forward or aft, etc. It's generally some sort of desirability factor.

Size is typically the same until you get into 2B or 4B where the B indicates "spacious" balcony for example.

Sometimes price anomalies occur where a more desirable cabin is cheaper than an otherwise standard or more common type of cabin.

It can vary by class of ship.  Voyager and Freedom class have some aft facing balconies that are 4D while on Radiance class the aft facing balconies are 4B category.

The point or takeaway is that each category can have price drops or price increases independent of other categories within the same type of cabin, i.e. interior, oceanview or balcony.  Only when your actual booked category drops in price can you request a price adjustment.

Very nice. You learn something new everyday. Thank you.
