  1. We had them open on our last cruise, doesn't really open the balcony up much, but it was convenient to go between rooms.
  2. It was offered on our Allure sailing this past June.
  3. Our balcony room on Allure had the clothesline in the shower. That was in June of this year.
  4. I got Prime for the first time the first week of June on the Allure. Got an instant cruise cert but had never had an offer prior to that. Nothing the rest of June or July, have since received two separate offers this month. Based on what I was seeing posted here, I didn't expect to get any at all. Sadly, I can't use either of them.
  5. I wasn't able to take the survey, the posted link sent me to a page that says "This survey can only be taken by invitation."
  6. Last year we had a deck 10 Jr Suite on Liberty, which I believe is the same layout is Independence. We noticed noise a couple of times, but nothing that bothered us or kept us from sleeping. Would gladly book a JS on that deck again.
  7. We went to it on the Allure in July, and really enjoyed it. But I think the level of audience participation, or lack thereof, will play a big roll in how fun it is.
  8. It happens, but I don't know that I would call it common. I'd keep checking the app several times a day. Also as soon as you are on the ship try to book it, there are usually spots that are held back that can be booked on board. Good luck!
  9. When we were on Allure 3 weeks ago, earliest time was 11:00, we showed up to drop off our luggage at 10:15 expecting a wait, we went right through security and were on the ship before 10:30. Smoothest embarkation of any cruise we've been on. Also, we were not in a suite, and did not have The Key.
  10. I believe check in normally opens 45 days prior to your cruise.
  11. Royal's site has it listed as 9-12 But other sources show 9-11 https://www.royalcaribbean.com/experience/cruises-for-kids-and-teens
  12. You are absolutely correct, got it mixed up with a different cruise... Thanks for pointing that out.
  13. Last sailed Adventure in Jan '22, we really enjoyed the ship. -edited
  14. Curfew for minors is 1am. There is plenty of things he can do by himself on the ship, just set your expectations with him, and let him go. My two boys 12 and 15, are required to check in with us every 2 hours, and to eat dinner with us. They always find lots of other kids their age to have fun with.
  15. There hasn't been any comedy shows available to reserve seats for on the June 11th sailing on the Allure, only the Ice show, the aqua theater, Mamma Mia, and Blue Planet. I've seen several Allure sailings this year that people were able to reserve comedy shows in advance, even posted screen shots in FB groups of it. This option seems to have been removed when they started doing Blue Planet. Has anyone else been on a very recent Allure sailing with the same thing?
  16. It appears to have gone up across the fleet, our June sailing on Allure, as well as all future bookings have all shot up. Getting out of control at this point.
  17. Saw in another group that Jazz on 4, on the Allure has been completely converted to non smoking casino area, and is up and running.
  18. We stayed in one of the OS directly beneath the Villa Suite on Symphony in Nov. 2021, and had no noise issues at all. Never heard anything from above or either side. Was the nicest and one of the quietest cabins we've ever cruised in.
  19. There's more to it than just that. They have to have a space for the syrup boxes for all the flavors, and then run the lines for each of them to the machine. I do wish they'd get them on every ship, even if they just installed one Freestyle machine at a time on a ship, it could be done overnight, with minimal guest impact, even if spread over two or three nights. I
  20. I love those lights, got them on pre-order direct from Wyze. At home I keep them in the bathrooms, and the stairs, they work great. Hadn't thought about taking them on cruises, we usually take battery operated tea lights. Will have to take these on our June cruise. Thanks!
  21. We've always found the beds to be very comfortable, but we do prefer a firmer matress.
  22. Is there a way to tell in advance which specific berth a ship will be moored at, in Cozumel? We will be there on the Allure on 6/15/23 and a friend of mine will be there on a Princess cruise at the same time. I know RC and Carnival/Princess use different piers, but trying to determine where the Allure will be moored, as there are 3 RCL ships scheduled to be in port that day, and I can't imagine how they would get 3 ships with one being an Oasis class at the pier normally used by RCL. Allure, Voyager, and Serenade are the 3 scheduled to be there. Hoping to figure this out, so we can arrange to meet up for lunch. Hoping Allure will be in the normal RCL area and we can meet up at Margaritaville.
  23. Maybe you can post what specifically you're looking for, ship, chip denomination, etc... Where are you located, to get the chips to you? We'll be on the Allure in June, can get you chips then if you'd like.
