  1. Hi all -- I will be solo traveling both in March and April and I recently became D+ -- Can I use the BOGO Specialty restaurants to eat at two restaurants, or even the same one twice using the BOGO discount? Thanks
  2. Can anyone recommend a shore excursion in Ensenada with a Scooter? I have mobility issues and will be using my scooter. Any feedback or suggestions would be great appreciated.
  3. Hi Ticca - I started using a scooter a few cruises ago -- I rented from Scootaround and they will deliver to your cabin. It cost roughly $250 for a weeklong cruise and was worth VERY penny -- I've now purchased my own, but it changed how I cruise and made things so much easier. The absolute BIGGEST struggle is sometimes getting an elevator, but most people are kind and will assist as needed. If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them if I can
  4. Hi all -- I currently cruise quite a bit, but usually just to the Caribbean. My friends and I are looking to take something else. I'm curious who has cruised outside of the Caribbean with a mobility scooter and found both the port and the destination accessibly friendly? Would love to hear from anyone with first hand experience! Thanks!
  5. Good Day everyone. I will be in a rented scooter and would love to know if anyone has a suggestion for an excursion in Roatan? I can walk short distances, but will definitely be on the scooter to get off the ship and to get around. Appreciate any feedback. The RC App and website doesn't clearly state accessible transfer to excursions. Thanks.
  6. Question for you all -- I just got off the Liberty and did "The Key" for the first time. I liked it and would consider it again, but I'm curious if anyone knows, does the discount Royale Prime transfer to "The Key" -- I have another cruise set for February and trying to understand if I can do "The Key" cheaper. Thanks
  7. Howdy all -- I'm sailing in October on the Liberty -- My mobility issues are getting the best of me. Wondering if anyone has any updated info and scooter rentals, specifically in Galveston on the Liberty? There are no longer any accessible rooms available, so I'm wondering if that's an issue too? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  8. We had booked a repositioning ship (by design, as we've always wanted to do that) -- We just got notification that it's cancelled, as the Allure is going to be in Galveston 'earlier' -- but nothing is on the website -- the cruise we booked is still there. A -- How long do yall think it will take for Royal to update it. (We're flexible with dates and would like to stay on the Allure reposition) B -- Is here anyway to search for just reposition cruises that anyone is aware of? Thanks!!
  9. I'm newly Diamond (my first cruise at that status is next week on the Adventure.) Question for drinks -- Will the 4 just be automatically used when I order a drink? And what about in the Casino? I'm Prime there and drink free there already. They won't 'use' my Diamond drinks? Can anyone shed some light?
  10. I just got off the Independence and "The Quest" wasn't around -- It wasn't on the Freedom last month either -- I think it will be awhile before we see it again. I used to LOVE it
  11. We just got off the Independence. Was told there are about 3400 passengers so about 75% capacity -- not bad at all
  12. They weren't on the Freedom last week. And I had a full breakfast (Omelet and bacon, etc) without a service charge
  13. Good for you!!! I will be on the Indy in Nov -- I can't wait
  14. Gotta say, Royal is doing it right -- ship was about 30% capacity -- (I heard everything from 1200 to 1400 passengers). The crew was incredibly attentive and happy to be sailing. Chops Grille (my first time there) was delicious. Check in was simple and staterooms were ready when we got on board. We had a bit of a scare. on night 3 (Nassau) We were scheduled to leave the port at 9pm and didn't leave until around midnight due to a passenger that needed medical attention. I heard that the passenger had a fever and needed to find a hospital bed, but I also heard that the passenger was injured and needed medical attention. Gotta admit it was a little worrisome, but AGAIN, Royal handled it as best they could. Now counting down to my next one in 7 weeks!!!
  15. That's what I did too -- I bought 50 of them for 20 bucks -- so I could just dispose of them as needed https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DCBQG1V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  16. No idea about these!!! Thanks for posting the link!!! Mine are on their way
  17. It's been several years, but 4 of us went on a cruise from Dec 27 to Jan 3. NYE on the ship was terrific. We did tuxedos and went completely formal -- it was a blast. I loved it
  18. Had an order of the home test from CVS -- but they cancelled it -- so I went ahead and bought a set from Optum. Should be here on the 8th, I sail on the 13th. Still have a test scheduled at CVS for next Saturday. I'll Triple Vaxxed, will be double masked and have two tests ready to go. I might be a little anxious and excited, ya think?
  19. Curious if anyone has had success. I checked my cruise (Freedom on the 13th) and there are over 100 Balconies available. Does anyone know if they are running 30/50% occupancy based on cabin type or just overall? I don't want to overbid just to get it, especially with that kind of availability Any thoughts? Thanks
  20. I just updated my testing date to Sept 11 (sailing on the 13th). AND I ordered home tests. I'm NOT going to miss this cruise!! Just wish they'd get me that RoyalUp for the same cruise!!!
  21. Thanks for posting this. I was hoping I'd feel this way (headed out of the Freedom in two weeks). I'm glad to hear that Royal is doing it right!! Glad you had a good time
  22. It's going to be difficult to get results back in two days, right? I'll do what I need to do, I'M CRUISING IN TWO WEEKS.
  23. Thanks Josh - That's what I figured. Appreciate the quick response
  24. I'm currently Emerald -- I will hit 78 points on my next cruise (mid-Sept). I'm taking another in December (Solo, so 4 points a night). I will hit Diamond after the first night of the December cruise (technically). Will it kick in on the December cruise or do I need to wait until whatever is my NEXT cruise to be 'fully Diamond'? Does anyone know? Thanks, I appreciate it.
