  1. Why do they(chefs) use so MUCH salt? If people need more salt there is a item on the table called a salt shaker; add as much as you like.
  2. One thing Royal's CocoDay vs Half moon cay is that Perfect day is docked half moon cay is a tender
  3. I saw a sign that said buy 2 get 1 free on the premade on Mariner for cartons, didn't see how much one carton was, sorry.
  4. I had given a cruise friends a license plate type magnet of their Cavalier King Charles spaniel and it was stolen, never found.
  5. Since I started this topic, I'm reporting back. Enjoyed our meals at Jamie's Did a luncheon and a dinner. DH liked the crispy squid (the MDR's fried calamari was not good). I liked the eggplant; had the cheesecake for dessert both times: good & plenty. Hubby had the banana split for his desert also good & plenty. Didn't get the meat plank so can't comment on it.
  6. Just came off Mariner (5nighter)The Love & Marriage show was at 2PM, They also had 2 afternoon shows of the Ice show. I agree with having some of the more popular/attending games/events to larger venues. Really enjoyed it many years ago when there wasn't any Art auctions. That would open up that space for more enjoyable events.
  7. The only problem with that is that the ship chef could change / switch the menus for the week. We're scheduled to board Mariner on Monday, and right now the last 2 nights show Italy, & I think that isn't correct. I think the 1st night is always Welcome Aboard. The rest of the week ????
  8. Sorry off topic. I see you also post to the Mariner Cruise on FB. Are you going on her soon?
  9. It'd be nice, but probably not, I've seen some heavy strips of plastic that you'd have to walk/wave through. If they install them at each entry way, so that might be a way to keep the smoke in.
  10. We've been lucky and have gotten most of the ships we sailed on. A few ships didn't have them so we had to get a medallion type ornament. The one new problem is that they switched vendors since Covid and the some of our models are smaller then their sister. ie I've got an Odyssey ofS that smaller then my Quantum ofS , go fig.
  11. Where's your bar located? Are you open for business? I'd like to come and partake.
  12. bought a lunch, thanks yes the menu is ok, but willing to try it one more time. for $13.99 + tip its a good take. \ bought it for embarkation day, so don't have to fight the WJ
  13. I think it could also be left overs from the night before sweet treats from the (D)/Crown Lounge (stale)
  14. Pattycruise - Have you tried 150 Central? I find that a step above. The Beef tenderloin for 2 is a great take.
  15. They didn't do it on the TA back in August. We asked if that could be done, (because there weren't many Pins but a lot of D & D+. The concierge said Miami (home office) wouldn't allow it. Though back in the Spring on the Radiance repo they did. I wish they'd leave it up to the concierges to make the decision, because they would know how many D, D+, & P are on board that particular sailing. That's the one nice thing about the Radiance class that the DLounge can connect to the Viking Crown lounge. not so sure about the other classes.
  16. Should Royal offer scooter races - one lap around the running track. Fastest scooter gets a sign saying 'I'm the fastest'
  17. There will be a lot of us looking for this answer
  18. YES!! Last year I enjoyed eating some of the options that were on the Vegan menu.
  19. Thanks for the info. Yes, I understand about different pallets. I knew that they had dropped some items (as in all the restaurants) just wanted to get peoples' likes and dislikes. so I can have some idea of what to order.
  20. Going to do a B2B on Mariner in a month. Would like opinions on what to try/order or not at Jamies.
