  1. I would just call them up and have it noted on your reservation or however they handle stuff like that.
  2. CDC didn't say that. They said their conditional sail order expires Nov 1.
  3. Can't say I've ever heard anything about archery on board ship until this thread.
  4. Our schools have been fully reopen all year with minimal mitigations and haven't had any tangible issues.
  5. Actually this would be a good job for the Washy Washy lady. She could just go from room to room saying Flushy Flushy just to keep in practice
  6. In the year 2525, if cruising is still alive
  7. I'm sensitive to cigarette smoke but never felt the casinos were that bad. I mean the smoke smell was stuck to everything, but never really noticed it in the air itself.
  8. I'd like to see more data on that (I'm sure it's out there but there's nothing on the Pfizer site about it). I see that those in the vaccine group had zero covid case (great of course) but the positivity rate among the placebo group was still only 1.5%. I'm also curious about the severity of those that got covid in the placebo group. Were they symptomatic at all?
  9. Just two. Seriously thinking of getting a third scheduled for next summer to get another double points cruise before that window expires.
  10. It was a week. But since we knew the first cruise date and all were 7 night cruises, it was easy to project out
  11. Unfortunately this will just be interviews, footage and reenactments of how miserable people were on the cruise back when panic over the unknown was at an all time high. And unfortunately it will portray the cruise industry poorly
  12. I heard some staffers don't turn on the sinks. They just do toilets. They're a Straight Flush
  13. Also generally ignored throughout is the Hope-SImpson scale, a measure of seasonal viral activity based on latitude. Which predicted a slight increase in northern states through the beginning of April, then a sharp decline after that.
  14. Yes and yes to the above. You can add the number now, when you check in for the flight, or at the ticket counter at the airport. And do definitely enter it in your airline profile, it'll automatically add it to future reservations.
  15. Go to that airline's website, enter the confirmation number, and from there it should let you add what they call "known traveler number"
  16. I'd be shocked if the health order isn't renewed. That wouldn't necessarily prevent cruising, but I don't think that is that big of a factor in things.
  17. Random hijack of the thread. Are they able to cater to dietary restrictions (ie, gluten) at chef's table? Or is it pretty much an as-is thing?
  18. The interesting thing is that if you look at the people who have gotten it, they're all people who are tested regularly due to their jobs or at-risk status. People who otherwise wouldn't have known they had it if they weren't getting tested every week. So that's a *good* thing for the vaccine.
  19. There will be a small percentage of people who get covid with the vaccine. Just like there's a larger percentage of people who get the flu despite the vaccine. Really not a big deal scientifically, but surely will be made a big deal in the media.
  20. Not good news for Canadians. https://twitter.com/LaurenPelley/status/1376618654784176129?s=20
  21. I flipped a cruise to the Bahamas just last week and got the confirmation email while still on the phone with the rep.
