  1. They are headed to Singapore to go into dry dock. The Captain explained to us two weeks ago that the work done will be mostly "back of the house" upgrades and not much on the guest side of things.
  2. Nassau has always been somewhat sketchy I've noticed. My judgement would be to take an organized group tour or excursion.
  3. The last few ships we've sailed on had NO pads on the chaise lounges in the Solarium pool area. What's up?
  4. We had the roof opened up on Vision of the Seas when temps got really nice. My biggest complaint is not having padded lounge chaises as advertised.
  5. My wife Kathy and I are looking forward to this cruise for sure. We've done it before and love Navigator. We have a friend that lives in PV and will be meeting her for lunch in old town Puerto Vallarta. Just printed out our luggage tags this morning.
  6. I just read this article that passport turn around times are getting shorter. https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/news/2023/11/07/us-passport-wait-times-drop/71478776007/?for-guid=1520f7f4-998c-4a55-93d7-087199dce07f&utm_source=usatoday-travel-strada&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=usatbaseline&utm_term=hero&utm_content=usat-mclean-nletter07
  7. Well, hopefully this system does not turn out to be Irritable Bull Sh*t
  8. Just received the same email. I think we already prepaid but will check with our TA.
  9. Probably not a big deal. We shall see though. Lately it seems that RCCL is trying to squeeze the benefits to the bare minimums.
  10. I'm curious if the impending government shut down will affect any tours in Pearl Harbor.
  11. Matt, I agree that no one knows for sure what RCCL executives may or may not do with the fleet. I'm sure the lenders might have a lot to say. Could I get that grain of salt on the rim of a margarita glass?
  12. Today we received our cruise documents and luggage tags. I see the internet prices went up by $1/day. We would like to order the 3 night dining package but it's still not priced favorably. This will be our ninth cruise since January of last year. Sailed on this ship last September and really enjoyed it.
  13. Since Ovation will not be stopping at any of the islands except Oahu to drop us off and our new stops are Victoria on Vancouver Island and Seattle we'll just have to make the best of it. As far as Seattle is concerned we plan on staying on the ship.
  14. I received this email today regarding the change in itinerary due to the devastating fires in Maui. Dear Guest, Due to the devastating wildfires in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, we’ll now visit Victoria, British Columbia instead. Additionally, we’ve added a visit to Seattle, Washington on Day 3. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this, nonetheless, the safety of our guests, crew, and the communities we visit are our highest priorities.
