I haven’t seen a breakfast hang tag since the restart.  I don’t think they’re a “thing” anymore.   AFAIK, you can still order the continental breakfast from room service for $0 but any kind of hot food will cost $$ unless you’re in a suite.

We had the breakfast hang cards on our cruises this year, including one last month.  But they are not often sitting out, they were in a bottom drawer.  If I do not see them in the future I will ask for them.

I will advocate (again, as usual) for the individual accounts.  Dan and I do not play well together so to keep our sanity (and relationship) we each have our own account.  Yes, it costs more...but I really like having the flexibility to change devices without having to worry about kicking him off.  I do understand the "logoff" concept....I just don't do it well. Very soon (October) I will no longer have to worry about this and I CANNOT WAIT !  Pinnacle, here we come !  Everyone with their OWN complimentary Voom account !

Congratulations on Pinnacle.  We just turned Pinnacle in April and are loving the benefits, including a free cruise in October.

  3. We often get into Florida late at night, like midnight.  We still get a hotel and some sleep.  Then head out to get on ship about 10am.    Since your cruise is a little over an hour away, Port Canaveral, you can stay either place.  But getting transportation from Orlando to Cape Canaveral area is harder to come by, and more expensive,  at that hour. I would stay in Orlando at the airport.  Then travel to ship in the morning.

    Hello,

Here's a snapshot of the deck plan of Deck 7 on Allure:

It looks like the 3V and 4V cabins have the same color! How are we supposed to tell them apart?

It matters because I believe the 4V cabins have the head of the bed along the side of the room and the 3V cabins have the head of the bed at the back of the room.

This would not apply to earlier classes of ships as I am pretty sure all interior cabins on Freedom-class ships and below have the head of the bed along the back of the room.

That's great for balcony class rooms (which is the usual question of this type) but this poster wants to know about the interior rooms.  I have no idea if they follow a similar pattern or not especially since it isn't even obvious from the deck plans where the door is on some of the cabins.

Are you asking for the location of the bed?  Like it is near the balcony or near

Are you asking where the location of the bed is?  Like it bed is near balcony or closer to the hallway.

I have been skipping main dining for the most part. It would take two hours on average to go through the meal. Lately I prefer grabbing some quick meal and use those two hours doing something more entertaining.

Lately it seems with the new limited dining room menus, they are much faster with their service.  In fact, too fast in my opinion.  We had our whole meal done in 30 minutes.  They brought both appetizers at once, instead of separately as I prefer.  Before those were done the main course arrived.  And desert not far after that.  They could have asked if we had a show first, and if not, slowed down the service to enjoy it more.  That is my opinion anyway.  I am not a big fan of the MDR anyway.  At least not in last few years.

Good Evening everyone, has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami before , looking to stay there next year, is it a good hotel, any good resturants near by,

I stayed there last month.  Was decent hotel.  Good price.  Plus the airboat ride we booked picked us up, and that was one of the hotels they pick up at.   Also it is right across the street from Bayside, good location.   Bayside has lots of restaurants.  Also shops and bars.  And is waterfront.   You can see the cruise ships from the hotel, so close to the port.

Suite Guests and D+ get an invite to a sunset sail away at one of the ports. On Thanksgiving (Harmony) it was Labadee and the highlight of our cruise! The views were spectacular and we can’t wait to do it again.

I was just on Harmony last month, we are Pinnacle.  And had  no invite to Helipad?

  8. No set time on when cruises are released to book, but summer of 2025 will probably be out in the fall, usually November.  Based on other years.  I am waiting for spring transatlantic to be available.  I cruise this coming October and wishing it will be available then, but I have doubts.  They are currently booking for first 4 months of 2025, but not all cruises.

We stayed at Hotel Rialto, excellent location.  I would definitely stay there again. Since you have to take water taxi (no cars) you also take your luggage.  The driver loads and unloads your luggage for you.

The shuttle to Venice has to be water taxi of some sort. Am not sure if 12 can fit on one boat but I do think there was room inside boat for 12.  There was just 4 of us and we had lots of space.  But mostly wanted to sit in back outside for the view.   We paid about $150 I think.  Well worth it.  Loved having a private taxi and would do it again.

The water taxi to transit center was less money as not as far as the airport.

What hotel did you stay at?  Is the water taxi doable with luggage? How much was the water taxi from the hotel to transit center. We are already booked on the shuttle. We are a party of 12and I read there was a shuttle from the airport to venice.

  11. We recently took cruise for 2 weeks in Greece.  We stayed several days in Venice before cruise.   We took water taxi, very close to airport, to hotel in Venice.  Then another water taxi to the transit center in Venice to get a bus, operated by Royal Caribbean, to Ravenna cruise terminal.  The ride is 1-2 hours.   We took the Royal Caribbean bus back to Venice airport after the cruise.  Worked out very well.  If we do that cruise again, I would do the transportation the same way.
