  1. When it read "bookings from now til June 30th" it seemed to mean new bookings only. If it includes already booked cruises next year I am very happy! Thank you I asked my TA to check it out for me too. Just to make sure.
  2. I am currently Diamond Plus, and it took me forever to get there. No, not happy it is made easier now. But on the other hand, I will be Pinnacle within next 1 1/2 years . That wouldn't have been possible without the double points. So, I have mixed feelings. Overall, I like I am in favor of the double points.
  3. Yes, this says bookings from now til June 30th. So doesn't seem that existing bookings next year thru Sept. would be getting double points??? I really want my existing 2022 sailings to be double points
  4. That is interesting as I read on RC site that the double points for 2022 were for bookings made from today thru June. Not existing. I thought that was so they could get more new bookings. But I read your attachment and am confused? I texted my TA to clarify. I hope you are correct!!!!!
  5. I also have a cruise this May and was going to L & S once it gets cancelled. Had a great rate.
  6. I read about the double points, and it does say that you get double points thru Sept. 2022 for "bookings booked now thru June 2021". If so, I am disappointed. As was hoping my cruises in suites next year would get double points. And I would be pinnacle. I am just not so sure about the wording so have contacted my TA to confirm.
  7. I might actually get to Pinnacle status next year with the extending of double point thru Sept. 2022 Yeah!
  8. I love a latte or two from DL or SL late morning. Like 10am. Not an early riser and stay up late. Water often. Just 1 or 2 alcohol drinks in late afternoon or evening. Usually something with Vodka. My husband does not drink, is allergic. So he has frozen juice drink with no liquor, coke or lemonade. We are not very interesting!
  9. I have bad knees and back. I have brought a walker or cane before. I did bring my own as could use at airport other places before and after a cruise. I have a fold up cane which you can carry very easy. The cruise ships also can help and provide items you may need. I did take my mother on a cruise but again brought my our wheelchair and was not an issue. I have had back surgery and knee surgeries. Most of the time I can navigate just fine on my own. And I am thinking she will be just fine 6 months after surgery. The best to you
  10. Yes. We will just wait and see what happens. Personally I only have one drink a day with liquor. And my husband does not drink. So, we usually get water, coke, or fruity drink, with no alcohol. That is why we would prefer allotted drinks during the day. But I am happy no matter how they decide to do it and just want to go on a cruise! Thanks for your comments
  11. I only have 2 drink a day, maybe 2. And my husband does not drink at all. We ususally just get water or diet coke, or a fruit drink with no liquor. So really I don't care how many drinks we get get on seapass card. That is why I would prefer it during day more than evening sometimes. But the normal cruise passenger drinks a lot more. Thanks for your thoughts.
  12. I only drink 1 drink a day, maybe 2. So this rushing to get a drink at 4:30 really doesn't affect me. Sometimes I get just water or coke or something. And my husband does now drink at all. But we do like socializing in Diamond lounge or Suite lounge. And the appetizers. Thanks for your thoughts. We will see what happens.
  13. It will be interesting if they change anything or not. Thanks for your comment
  14. Thanks for your response. Yes, it seems to be a no win situation
  15. I would very much to be able to get my allotted free drinks any time of the day. Seems there is lines everywhere, in regular bars not just diamond lounge, waiting for 4:30 to arrive and get free drinks. It would not cost the cruise line any more money to offer drinks all the time, or at least a larger window.
  16. The rules being suggested for cruising have not been applied. There has been no cruises or even test cruises. I think all these restrictions will change more than once before cruises actually begin. So, am not worrying about it. May or may not happen. I have had numerous cancelled cruises and keep booking. I currently have 9 cruises booked. And yes, I would cruise with the current restrictions. It will take a long time for cruises to be "like they used to be". They have changed so much from when I started cruising in the 80's and I am fine with it. I very much miss my cruises!
  17. I have not been able to see it online on the cruise planner before. Thanks
  18. I see that this L & S shows you can move your cruise to 1 week within dates or cancelled cruise. Used to be 1 month. Interesting
  19. They do not show up on your cruise planner. They will show up on the booking confirmation.
  20. I think the menu looks good. You won't really know until you try it. I would go. I am a fan of Jamie's though.
  21. Perhaps the restaurant would get food from another venue and bring it to him, while you are also dining?
  22. I made a copy of my covid vaccine card and keep them in several places. Including passport and wallet.
