Cakemeister got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Favorite ship and why?
I would say all of them because I would rather be on any ship than at home! ?

Cruise's out of Galveston that don't always go to Cozumel and other Mexican ports. Grand Cayman Aruba Bonaire Curaçao Cruise would be nice. Jamaica Haiti and something else would be another one to add. Seems like everything from Galveston heads to Cozumel at some point.

Agree with the more cruises to Aruba Bonaire Curaçao, and perhaps longer cruises from New Orleans would be on my wish list.

Awesome pictures, thank you for posting.
We went on Liberty in January '20 (only four days vacation required for the week of MLK Day, plus my birthday happened to fall on that week) Hopefully we will get a chance to cruise in '21. I'm looking at two Labor Day cruises right now. I'm optimistic.

I was on Adventure from Jan 18-Feb 1.
My wife and I did the first 8-nights, she went home, I stayed onboard, and our youngest came with me for the second itinerary of 6-nights.
The whole experience hooked me on back to back cruising.
We have two back to backs booked for 2021.
Oasis next to Adventure in St. Maarten. Adventure felt big till we saw this. ?

Frequent cruisers should definitely take the opportunity to buy 100 shares on a significant dip. Normally, I stay out of the stock market but if I had known last year that shareholders get $100 onboard credit per cruise I would have picked up 100 shares back in the spring when shares were in the 30's.

This is a good deal. The rate on interior cabins (where I like to stay) is $441 as I write this on 12/31/20.
I am guessing that the rates are so low because this is the first cruise after the free cruise credits expire.

@Galveston Stevethank you for maintaining this thread. I've cruised on the Mariner, Rhapsody, and the Liberty out of Galveston and I'm looking forward to a "big-boy" ship coming to the new terminal.

We stay in Inside Cabins, so our expectations are not real high....but after thinking about it for a bit, I'd like to see another AC outlet or two as well as a couple USB outlets by the bedstands.

The Port of Galveston reported this week that Cruise Terminal 3 is still on track to begin construction in April 2021 to be ready to open in October 2022. Allure of the Seas is still mentioned as the first ship to be based at the new terminal!

I don't think so. After the 1918 pandemic, things were the way they were before very quickly.
Human nature has not changed in a mere one hundred years. We will eventually be back to maskless cruising. It's just a matter of how long it will take.

This is what I will probably end up doing.
There was a nice "Connect the ships" itinerary this year on the Jewel, that was cancelled. It was 85 nights with seven back-to-back cruises with six different itineraries.
