  1. You can- however that doesn't mean the price will be lower. It is still at the prevailing rate any time you do a price change. Recently the prices have increased so much closer to sailing that switching to non-refundable deposit will not help you at all.
  2. This happens a lot. But you do not need the luggage tags; the porters will have extras handy.
  3. I just searched the cruise and there looks to be plenty of availability, so I would say it's a glitch or Royal was just looking at inventory.
  4. My Mac has always worked fine with the internet packages. I would take your computer down to the internet help desk.
  5. Make sure you bring cash to tip the porters!! It's always on my cruise packing list.
  6. If it's the same travel agency such as MEI then yes it can be seen by the first and second agent. If you're unhappy with your first agent you can asked to be reassigned, but that's only assuming that you're sticking with the agency itself.
  7. The food on Virgin is fantastic, and nothing is considered specialty, it's all included. I loved sailing on them. They aren't for everyone, that's for sure, but in some ways they really blow everyone else away.
  8. This happens from time to time; your travel agent should be able to get it sorted out. Sometimes when there's FCC involved it's even worse. Unfortunately "Royal Math" is still wonky, but it is getting better as time goes on.
  9. Yes, it's too late, you can only transfer a reservation 30 days after the deposit. (It used to be 60 days, now it's 30 days.)
  10. Steer clear of the Bionic Bar- it's a fun novelty but it's definitely completely measured out. A bartender will do a better job. Find a bar on the first or second day and stick with that bar. They'll know you and what you like.
  11. Wrong. The easiest way is to ask your TA to do it. But if you book on your own, then @Matt is correct. Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples such as exact category, if you have refundable or non-refundable, and if you've added gratuities or travel protection.
  12. I have shared an Internet plan before, and if you both need it it's very annoying to share. Heck, it's very annoying to log out on my phone and in on my computer. I would get two plans.
  13. The towel check out/charge is one of the worst Royal Caribbean policies imo. No one is stealing their crappy blue towels and it just causes so many problems!
  14. A motion-detected night light is awesome! Ones like these are magnetized on the back and will stick to the wall. https://www.amazon.com/WYZE-Rechargeable-Sensors-Bathroom-Stairway/dp/B09DZ4SQNZ/ref=sxts_rp_s_a_1_0?content-id=amzn1.sym.eff26b9b-e255-411b-a40d-eccb21f93fe4%3Aamzn1.sym.eff26b9b-e255-411b-a40d-eccb21f93fe4&crid=ZIOS35FBHA0W&cv_ct_cx=wyze+night+light+3+pack&keywords=wyze+night+light+3+pack&pd_rd_i=B09DZ4SQNZ&pd_rd_r=9eda9bd5-754e-4ecc-9119-c06e57bf5ec3&pd_rd_w=z2qMy&pd_rd_wg=weyfz&pf_rd_p=eff26b9b-e255-411b-a40d-eccb21f93fe4&pf_rd_r=5DG7RP6S1PTJ5GT7GRXB&qid=1672443310&sprefix=wy%2Caps%2C213&sr=1-1-5985efba-8948-4f09-9122-d605505c9d1e
  15. FCCs for Royal Caribbean belong to the guest, not the travel agent. If her credit card was charged by Delta Vacations then they could be correct, but if it was a charge by Royal Caribbean then that FCC should belong to her. She can look it up or a new travel agent can.
  16. Correct, it's not all cruises that offer it.
  17. The agent probably pulled it into a consortia group, free OBC for you! I do this all the time for clients, and I don't even necessarily tell them because if the OBC doesn't show up then it looks bad. But it's a nice surprise for most people!
  18. This is the same form we use- so either way works. If you don't know the agency phone number then just send the agent your info.
  19. Yes you can transfer 30 days after booking. Send her your ship, sail date, and reservation number and there's a quick form she can fill out. Very simple.
  20. The cruise fare can certainly change- if you see what you think is a change in the fare, notify your agent. They might not have gotten to it yet (some of us have piles to go through). A lot of the time my clients think they see a lower deal but they forgot that they booked a refundable fare, or added gratuities, or any number of things and they are wrong. But oftentimes they are also right. Either way I will double check for them!
  21. When boarding the Wonder of the Seas last week they asked us if we're vaccinated and boosted and if I was 23 or more weeks pregnant. The app asked basically the same things and just are we feeling well. Very simple.
  22. Not if the due date has passed (if you have paid early, yes).
