  1. currently 10 booked

5 in 2021 including  odyssey on 3 back to backs starting july 11th-30th 2021 (was moved from independance, have cabin  #'s already!!)  back to back christmas. new years dec 2021on liberty

5 so far in 2022 including trans on jewel in april to amsterdam(16 n), (3 back to back) then baltic(7), iceland(12) will be in europe total of 6 weeks!

depending on timing, probably 6 to 8 more july thru dec 22..

after 20 cruises cancelled between mar 2020 and june 2021.....we are so ready!!

  2. we are so excited now! feels like we hit the jackpot! we were scheduled on 3 back to backs on the independence weeks of july 11th(6), july 17th(8), and july 25th(6 day) and we recieved an email stating we will atomatically be booked on the Odyssey of the seas! on the same dates too!  we are happy to be on the 2,3, and the 4th cruises on this wonderful new ship. looking forward to going back to aruba and curacao, along with everything else. after having 14 cruises cancelled since march 2020, we are more than ready.. love the fact we had lift and shifted into independence from other great cruise deals we already had. after looking at current pricing, im so glad we are price guarenteed into this expensive ship!! 10 more scheduled between dec21 and april22!!

We just payed for our March 27th on Harmony and wish they would make a decision to go / cancel. If its cancelled we have plans all set to go to Cancun to an All-inclusive w/ the kids. Just would like to get it booked earlier rather than later due to airfares.

what in the world made you do that?? both ncl and carnival have cancelled everything in march! rccl is always the last to put cancellations up.. we all just let rccl keep holding our money..

  4. it is a guarantee that march will be cancelled.. everyone else already has..and... april will follow also.. what upsets me is that rccl is STILL selling cruises for march! people are insane to think it will happen out of the u.s. before may/june 2021... I already moved jewel trans atlantic from mar21 to apr22 and flat cancelled the back to back with that out of barcelona apr 7th,21 .. ended up dumping 16 cruises in 2020 and 6 so far in 2021.. probably going to happen to our may5th on liberty and hope or june 15th to alaska is a go, plus the other 8 booked for later this year...this insanity has to stop soon or i am resigned to wipe off all of 2021..

  5. my big question is the legality of a u.s. agency limiting the days on a cruise going to europe and not returning. I understand the u.s. is the departure point, but not returning, takes it out of u.s. jurisdiction as these are not u.s. flagged ships.. we have 8 cruises booked starting end of march 2021.. jewel out of galaveston, 16 night to barcelona, back to back, 9 day barcelona to amstedam.. leaves march 22, 2021.. 8 day independance in july and 5 others between april and sept. 2021..  while the cruises for more than 7 days have been booked on the booking portal, they are still on my upcoming sailings list..  and by the way, I just received another e-mail for cruise planner discounts for my trans- atlantic sail this morning..lol....... luckily got 6 cruises in before shutdown...had 5 cruises cancelled for 2020 between april and august.. glad I didnt book last 4 months of 2020!!  its a wait and see game now..........and I am a big YES on volunteering to be a guinea pig!!

  6. received FCC for cruise sailing 5/17 today, suprised it was so fast as the sailing wasnt to end till the 29th!!  question I have is why was the FCC split equally in half between both my wife and myself, when my portion of the original reservation was 70% of total to my wifes 30%???(due to BOGO 60%) my future booking that I wish to use this on is set up same way, yet I can use only a portion of my wife"s FCC to cover her part of reservation and have to wait till cruise is over to have balance put on new FCC for her!! yet my FCC LEAVES ME WITH A $2000 BALANCE TO PAY..this makes absolutely no sense to me at all.... any ideas anyone??

waiting for taxes and cruiseplanner to be refunded to c.card,  FYI, have also received refund of deposits of 2 aug20 cruises that I had just cancelled 2 weeks ago, plus received all refunds for my may 2nd transatlan. crossing cruise.

  7. hope it can be done in cabin...i understand the importance of the muster, but the last 2 years of cruises we have been on were either in a dining roo, or somewhere on the promonade deck..so, the argument of "physically" being by the lifeboat no longer stands..

  8. WJ is a very big issue.. we never use it for dinner because there are many options.. the problem is breakfast and lunch.. i can see them going to full dining room service( all 3 levels) for breakfast and lunch to solve part of this problem(since most of dinner servers work the WJ for breakfast and lunch)  remember that many ships have anywhere from 3000 to 5000 passengers and serving everyone without a buffet is a logistical nightmare. there also wont be a solarium buffet on oasis class ships.. probably a very limited menu food court concept would work best to those that dont want a sit down meal...just like the mexican rest. on vamped oasis, they will probably have pre made burgers, sandwiches, and salads.. whatever RCCL does, they are certainly in a pickle...

  9. rccl needs to keep cash on hand to survive the next 12 to 18 months..NCL has been chirping that they have 18 months of liquidity,   the players know there will be little to no sailings in 2020, but dont want to scare investors to send stocks to a further freefall, and they want the consumer to keep putting down deposits and 90 day payments in full to keep cash flow going to pay for cancellations..the u.s. will NOT OPEN ANY PORTS IN 2020, JUST AS NO  europe flights to u.s. in 2020.. the cruise lines know this already, but continue to take customers money..

I really feel for the reps, not just at RCCI but at all companies, working from home since their office is closed. Having to deal with being stuck with their family (its hard to work from home when kids, pets, and/or spouses all want attention) while millions of people call and yell at them over a few things they cannot control. That being said...the amount of your refund, the status of your loyalty account and other titles has no bearing on a refund. The refunds are not manual, only the FCC is. You obviously don't understand, it is not like RCCI wanted to layoff staff, just like it didn't want to cancel your cruise. That even at fully staffed, having millions of people call with the possibility of multiple cruises to deal with...is going to result in larger wait times. Add into people who are trying to book, L&S, and finalize cruises.

i do understand...it was only a frustration rant...certainly feel for anyone and everyone working in customer service anywhere today! its not only rccl, it is everything... airlines, hotels, credit cards......etc....believe me, its very simple to program a computer to automatically refund everyone for everything....but....they cannot afford the cash flow to stop, and dont want to return BILLIONS immediatly... their reserves would empty and stocks would collapse..this applies to all companies..on a closing note, it is a pipe dream to think cruising out of u.s. will return before 2021.....ports wont open...there is no u.s. incentive to do so since all these ships are foreign registered and provide no tax income to u.s. government.. all the u.s. based cruise land jobs are shrinking rapidly, as the lines are very aware of this but dont want the consumer to stop depositing and still pay in full 90 days out, prviding them a constant cash flow..they are able to hold 100"s of millions of dollars for 135 days plus(90+45) to keep liquidity...

  11. just a rant....this is ridicules!! just spent 2hrs 37min  on hold to talk to someone about one of my refunds...had to hang up to handle other business..I had asked for a refund of one of my 4 cancelled cruises, took FCC on 2 of them, but the problem is that I had paid for it almost 2 years ago and that account is no longer open.. it is a 5 figure amount and need another form of refund.. does anyone know of any way to circumvent the customer service center. I'm diamond plus as well as casino signature, called both casino host and c and a rep, but was told by both that changing refund method is only done thru rccl customer service..i understand they are busy, and have reduced staff (real nice idea to take care of your customers), maybe someone from rccl may read this..lol

I just hope RCCL updates the date they will return to cruising is just as quick.  Summer travel has been a nightmare to figure out.

why would you want to figure out summer travel plans??  none will happen this summer.. no air, no hotels, no open ports, no cruising...better off working on next year..

rccl usually responds pretty fast, should be same as carnivals..

  13. rccl will probably put out a detail statement this weekend, tomorrow starts the 30 day window to restart sailing, i think they will extend 30 more days wiping out rest of may and part  of june..  2 more of my cruises down the drain... will be interesting what they do with 90000 crew industry wide, they cant keep them on the ships forever...

  14. with most of the april/may repositioning cruises to europe already cancelled, has anyone heard how or when they will go to europe. are they going over empty?none scheduled right now on web site.. or will europe be cancelled completely, which will snowball to nov/dec ships back to u.s. if they arent in europe.. i have already been cancelled to europe in may, have b2b when i would have gotten there(baltic 5/17 probably cancel since ship wont be there) also have ship booked back from europe in nov..

We were booked on the Brilliance leaving Tampa May 2 for 15 day transatlantic which was sold out & ending in Amsterdam. We were notified today that it’s cancelled, however our B2B from Amsterdam for 12 day Baltic Cruise hasn’t cancelled yet. I’m not sure but I would think it will cancel also.  Right now the schedule still shows that ship resuming cruises from Amsterdam mid May, but nothing shows the ship relocating from Tampa to Amsterdam.  I’ve looked at the schedules and frankly there’s not much to choose from right now to use the Future Cruise Credits for so not sure that refunds aren’t the better choice.

we are in exactly the same situation, i think baltic will cancel soon.. dont think ships are going to europe, right now none are scheduled to. i want to take fcc, but not sure how long this will last..trying to cancel one way air home from amsterdam now...
