  1. Yes, it is ! We are in the Grand Panoramic Suite (1701) Jan 9-30 2022. I’m so happy to know you will be there too ! You will be ruined forever. ??
  2. What a sweet thing to say ! Right back atcha. Yes, I will say that 2022 is working into quite an ambitious year. By then, hopefully, we will be living in FL (which makes no sense for booking cruises out of Australia, but that's another story), and we have a B3B Star Class booked for Oasis in January 2022. We certainly cannot afford to do SC all the way across the Pacific (nor would I want to...too much of a good thing) but I do plan on making that last leg (Alaska) SC. Dan has ALWAYS wanted to go to the South Pacific (me too !) so we are really excited about Tahiti and Bora Bora. I can't wait for the new itins to come out so that we can get those booked.
  3. Ok...so I went in this morning and noted...in order to get to the "Back to the Search Results", you do have to arrow back (maybe 3 times) to find the link.
  4. Yeah, you're right. You used to have to book by 12/3/121 and sail by 4/30/22. I wonder if this is a typo on the extension. I can't imagine that they are shortening the time to actually use the FCC. Good catch.
  5. Carl, I am taking you up on your invitation. Last night I booked the 11 night 3-30-22 Ovation cruise (NZ roundabout) and the 16 night 4-10-22 Ovation TP from Sydney to HON. As soon as the new schedules come out, we will book the HON-SEA (assuming OoS will be sailing out of SEA in 2022) and the first Ovation Alaska cruise. It's our most ambitious cruise itin yet ! We will spend a week or so in Oz before we start cruising. We are both SO excited. Can't wait. First trip to Oz (not for work), first time to NZ, first TP, first Alaska. I figure if we're going to spend upwards of $10K to fly all that way we might as well make the most of our time on your side of the beach ball.
  6. The "use by" dates haven't changed (I don't think). It's the time that you have to initiate the CWC/L&S that has been extended. The old date was 7/31/20 and now that has been extended to 9/30/20...so basically an additional 2 months to decide if you want to cancel on your own (for which you would receive only FCC) or L&S your cruise 1 year into the future (with full price protection).
  7. Ugh. That’s a horrible option. I would hope that they would make more options for a Star a Class....but of course we know that it didn’t happen for @twangster
  8. Will you be able to L&S since you got such a great price ?
  9. I saw this over on CC. This is very bad news, indeed. It would mean 4 more for us.
  10. YIPPEE !!!! I just noticed that they have added a "back to the search results" link so now you don't have to use the back arrow 12 times to get back to your list results ! They must have read our post !
  11. 1. Probably not, as prices tend to increase over time...which leads to... 2. Lift & Shift is a program that allows you to move your cruise out 1 year with price protection. That means that you would lift &shift your Nov 2020 cruise to Nov 2021 (for example) at the same price you paid for 2021. You now have until Sept 30 to make such a move, if you want to. There are a couple of restrictions but overall, it’s an excellent program for people who want to postpone their cruise or for those who have already had their cruise(s) cancelled.
  12. I sent the link to Dan (who does do FB) and he couldn't get the link to work. BOOOOOOO
  13. Bummer. I don't do FB so I can't see the video.
  14. This is primarily why we rarely do Chef's Table anymore. There's really nothing special or unique about it.
  15. When they refer to “Travel Agent Rates” they are referring to special rates given to TA’s themselves, not regular passenger rates negotiated by an Agency.
  16. A rather undignified process. I would have thought that they would of at least put them into some kind of lock or berth of some kind. Just pushing them up on the beach like that is rather rude. Surprised to see the life boats still attached. I guess they are of no value to anyone now but still would have thought that they would have removed them beforehand. Definitely a less-than-dignified end.
  17. No. Drinks are only complementary if you have the DBP. That ad is a bit deceiving.
  18. Wow ! That’s a complete shock to me. I thought those 2 refund options were completely independent of each other. You really do learn something new very day !
