  1. Except in the EU/UK. They make and sell what I call FAKE Kraken, which is only 80 proof here Yes, it is REAL and authentic but less alcohol by volume. I refuse to buy it here, and always bring back a bottle from the US when I can.

  4. Sorry for your experience. Unfortunately as you may have read several times as a fan of the blog, if you have a problem, you must always bring up while onboard, once you are off the ship there is very little that can be done.

  6. In response to the wall of text.... Sorry for your experience. As it is said on the Blog several times, if you have a problem, ALWAYS deal with it while on board. You are most likely unable to get satisfaction AFTER you are home.
  7. I say do what makes you happy. Wanna make a YouTube video? Go for it! I am always interested in cruise vlogs of any kind!
  8. No penalty for missing reservations. You can walk up and get my time dining at any time but you may have a wait, and they may say "You need to book" but they won't turn you away. At least this applied before covid and when we sailed post covid on a reduced capacity cruise. Also if you dont like your table say something as soon as possible otherwise they will try and seat you there every night.
  9. It is a three week wait for email response in the UK from the UK office. I tend to only use their online chat function in the UK, as telephone service is a 1-2 hour call here.

  11. There guidelines for Europe are ALL over the place. They state you must be up to date according to the EMA. If you go to the EMA website it clearly states they have nothing to do with travel recommendations and that their sole purpose is to approve vaccinations and medicines for use in the EU, LOL. I have got 5 months to go as well and I am just not gonna worry about it until 30 days to go. I to had my booster in October 2021 and live in the UK where a 4th is not an option for my age group.
  12. Not sure why, but Royal ran their "All Inclusive" promotion over here in the UK (not sure if you are in the US/Canada if you can take advantage) for certain 2022 sailings. They were adding the Deluxe Beverage package to your invoice for £40/$51 per person per day. A real bargain compared to the Cruise Planner (They were still selling the DBP for £63 on the cruise planner for my sailing) and some of the prices I have been seeing here on the blog. Come to the UK! Drink up me hearties yo-ho!
  13. I would still prefer it if RCI did a midnight buffet or different selection of food late night rather than just pizza. The Chocolate (Sculpture) Buffet was always great to look at and sample as well. late night snacks in the casino was handy as well for late night gambling.
  14. I am assuming you mean something for sea sickness that doesn't cause drowsiness? Try ginger tablets, or green apples?
  15. The $35 credit for Izumi, is more than enough IMO:) We had to be "rolled" out both times we ate there with our a la carte pricing! Seriously so much sushi:)
  16. I personally ALWAYS get the 3 night package. We like the specialty restaurants and the Unlimited package is not in our budget:)

  18. I book things as they become available, then cancel and buy again if the lower in price. As far as the Deluxe Drinks package goes, it hasn't gone to a point for me that doesn't make financial sense. I use it for everything I can, as much as I can. 20 years ago, and my wife still reminds me of the $800+ dollar bill we had when we didn't get a package.
