As you know ….. Fully vaccinated don’t have to wear masks anywhere starting today except on Adventure Ocean ……. I thought answering your question about the booster not being needed to be considered fully vaccinated was sufficient for you to know he didn’t need to wear a mask around the ship being fully vaccinated

NOBODY needs a booster to be considered fully vaccinated to cruise

If she doesn’t drink at all, you can get 8 drinks per day for free using your Diamond drinks and hers then you could buy at least another 6 drinks per day for 14 total per day before hitting the daily cost of the DBP for you and the refreshment package for her On our next few cruises, rather than staying in a suite like we usually do …… my spouse and I are doing 2 side by side balcony cabins ….. him and our 10yo son are in 1 cabin …… I’m in the other solo earning us all 2 points per night …….. he’s buying the DBP and I’m having 10 free drinks per day using both our Diamond drinks ….. win - win LOL

My now 10yo son has always ordered from the adult menu in specialty restaurants …….. most times he wasn’t even charged the $10/day for kids when we didn’t purchase the UDP for him because in the old cruise planner they don’t have an option to purchase at the kids price.

It doesn’t have to be 3 days before …… it can be up to 3 days before ……so Rapid PCR tests 2 days before or 1 day before are ok too …. it just CANNOT be on boarding day because they claim that would mess with the test they’d I at the port

It’s just odd he said “expected” to wear a mask when talking about unvaccinated children in general on the ship …….. but “required” to wear a mask when talking about Adventure Ocean in the next sentence ……. I’m not saying they’re going to have a policy with no teeth ……. I’m just wondering if perhaps when their policy is explained in more detail in their Travel Agent call, if it will be like that of Carnival and NCL ……. meaning that they’d “prefer” unvaccinated kids to wear a mask, but it won’t be “required” unless they’re in Adventure Ocean

Has anyone else noticed Michael Bayley’s post only says masks are “EXPECTED for unvaccinated children” …. Then says masks are “REQUIRED” for all kids in Adventure Ocean Both Carnival and NCL are already going no masks for anybody (vaccinated or not) anywhere except their kids clubs ….. it sounds to me like Royal isn’t going to enforce masks on unvaccinated kids either unless they’re in Adventure Ocean

Because they didn’t leave out of the United States ….. the drinking age on a cruise ship goes by the legal drinking age of the country the ship is originally boarded in and leaves from …… the Bahamas has a legal drinking age of 18

The bill isn’t to skip Canada just to skip Canada …….. the bill is to allow Alaska cruises to STILL happen from Seattle to Alaska without a stop in Canada IF AND ONLY IF Canada goes crazy again and bans cruises out of their ports in 2022. Everyone sailing to Alaska this summer should be cheering this bill on and hoping it will pass because if it doesn’t and Canada doesn’t allow cruise ships in their ports again this year, all Alaska cruises will be CANCELLED.

I’m just going to do it within 2 days anyway to avoid problems …… I’d hate to get to the terminal and then get refused boarding just because I tested at 3 days ahead instead of 2 lol

Yes, only dinner needs a reservation ….. you can even ask the suite concierge to make any dinner reservations you want in CK when they email you about a week before the cruise (also for any specialty restaurant reservations you want made if you have the Unlimited Dining Plan) …… breakfast and lunch are walk-in on a first come first served basis as long as you’re in a Grand Suite or better. Junior suites can’t have breakfast or lunch there and the suite concierge also doesn’t email Junior Suites the week before the cruise.

There’s no need to be snipey, she misunderstood and thought that her vaccinated kids would have to wear masks at all times if they were going to go to Adventure Ocean at all. …. And not all kids who can “walk around” can currently get vaccinated, I’m assuming you know that kids under 5 can also “walk around”

Diamond PLUS is where you get the best discount on the DBP while onboard … 30% Off ….. (for instance 30% off the average on board price of $88/day is $61/day) ….. but sometimes you can even get it in the cruise planner for 30% off as well no matter what your status is.

In the 5 to 11 age group if there were a large number unvaccinated and sailing ….. as of right now and even with the changes coming on March 1, that age group is not required to be vaccinated to sail.
