    Jetline Simulations Nassau
I booked it direct before Royal offered it as an excursion.

Mention you are on a cruise ship for a discount.
It's a short walk from the pier area.

Perhaps your agent was telling you that if you reprice your booking (any repricing is essentially a cancellation and rebooking) you would lose your original booking promotions.  That is true.  But if you still want to upgrade and don't care about losing whatever original booking promotions you had, your agent should be able to do that for you.  This is true for North American booking rules.  Other locations have different booking rules.

sk8erguy1978 reacted to twangster in Is bigger really better?
Voyager class (Explorer) is a real sweet spot for me.  Not so big, easy to get around yet big enough to have a lot to offer.
Other Voyager class include Voyager, Navigator, Mariner and Adventure.
Freedom class is basically Voyager Plus.  They are literally a stretched version of Voyager class.  This includes Freedom, Independence and Liberty.  The extra length allows a few more venues and more cabins so more guests.
The Radiance class is notably smaller by a large margin.  Radiance, Brilliance, Serenade and Jewel.  Fine ships but no promenade.  They were built to be smaller so they could go through the original Panama Canal (the ships above couldn't fit the original canal).  No promenade means several venues are not present.  No ice skating rink, no adult water slides.  Indoor solarium for adults so good ships for all cruise seasons.
Looking bigger than Freedom class also gets you into newer ships.  Newer ships come with more recent innovations.  Oasis class is something that everyone should experience at least once.  They are unique and much larger than previous classes.  All that extra space allows them to add more venues, activities and entertainment options.   The production shows are very good on these ships, much better than previous classes.  There is so much going on it helps to disperse the crowds so you don't feel all the additional guests.  With so much going on it's hard to try or do everything with just one cruise.  Some people feel these ships are too big and they prefer smaller ships.  That's fine, to each their own but you have to try one to see for yourself.

I personally do not make reservations for My Time so I'm not sure how he cruise planner should look afterwards, but we know people who do and they never had an issue. Therefore, you can rest assured your reservation is in the system.
After boarding, just head over to the dining room and confirm your times. If for some reason the reservation isn't in the system, they will plug you in; the dining room times are flexible.

Is there anything in your order history?  If for some reason the times are no longer there, I'm pretty sure all the desired times will have been taken.  Since they don't really adhere to the selected times (which is why it's so flexible), just pick any time; this way you won't have to stand in the non-reservation line.

YES! We love heading AFT for a little peace and quiet, and plenty of chairs! When we want to be closer to the fun, usually the deck above pool (jogging track) has some available chairs.

I like it much better on the upper deck.  I like to choose a chair on the railing side of the track and turn my chair around to enjoy the sea.

There are tons of chairs.  They just may not be in the shade or right near the pool.  There are lounge chairs on several decks.

Another, yup to the list. I too as mentioned, do mock searches to get an idea of prices (but know that's in no way an indication of what my flight cost will be) but also to get an idea of what routes various airlines fly.
I also consider convince when determining what is a fair price. JetBlue for example flies to MCO from SWF which usually comes with a higher cost but I could walk to SWF so if it's $100 more, so be it. I'll save more than that in parking at EWR or similar, plus gas, toss, etc.

I've been to St. Thomas and Puerto Rico a few times and never needed bug spray. In Puerto Rico we have walked around and did the forts, the Bacardi tour, a mall, and stayed once pre-cruise. In St. Thomas it's usually a beach day at either Magens Bay or Sapphire and ALWAYS end the day at Paradise Point.
For a point of reference, during the summer months, the NY mosquito's love my sweet Irish blood.

    50 days to go!
I've enjoyed reading all the build up to past Star Class Cruise blogs and live info that I decided I would try and do one too...    It is almost 2 years ago I booked this trip, beyond excited!!
As in the title its a 50th Birthday (mine), we  booked a Grand Loft suite on the Ovation along with my husband JJ, daughter SJ and her friend.
On this trip we have approx 20 friends joining us in various rooms, one other couple in Star Class, a few in Suites.
We leave on Easter Saturday, 11th April from Sydney and staying at The Hilton the night before, we live in Sydney as most of our other friend do...  Our other Star Class friends are flying in from Scotland.  (24 hrs away)!
It is a 9 night Cruise with ports of call at Noumea,  Mystery Island Vanuatu and Brisbane.
We received our Genie questionnaire earlier this week and just about to fill in and send off....  More to follow!

Hi everyone! Just checking in and saying hi - been lurking and watching the videos/live streams etc for a while but only joined the forum recently. Got my first ever cruise (Anthem) out of Southampton in May and also have Allure booked out of Barcelona in September. Looking forward to posting more often!

I'm more afraid if being denied boarding because one of us caught a cold right before the cruise (not Asia).
But yes, personally we wouldn't book a cruise in that part of the world for awhile.

We are fans of chops, good steak house menu and excellent service. Jamie's was also very tasty, we did that on Oasis back in 2012.
Let them know it's your honeymoon and keep spreading the word. Most staff will make a big deal about it. In regards to "your arrival" you can buy various stateroom decorations on Royal's website. Honestly, it's expensive. Might be more fun to sneak decorations onboard, ask your new bride to run and get drinks and decorate real quick from dollar store stuff. My wife did this for my (sigh it's been a while) 30th bday and I loved it. She probably spent $10 bucks to my $100+ when I paid for Royal decorations on an anniversary.
Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Stick around!

I find this odd. Our experience with this on Freedom was completely the opposite. Each group/couple had all of the ingredients in separate containers on the table while the server/instructor gave tips on how to utilize the different ingredients to suit our tastes.
He also tutored us on making some superb Margaritas and print outs of the guacamole and margarita recipes were provided after the included lunch.
All in all, it was a very good experience.
