  1. Separated (not retired USAF), my guesstimate would be that only 10%-15% of my cruises, lifetime, have qualified for the discount. I have no idea the criteria used to determine eligibility, but I am happy to get it when I can.
  2. When was your positive test? Timing is paramount to satisfy the COR requirements.
  3. With Allure slated to handle 3-4 day itineraries after Galveston; I don’t think her Amp will happen any time soon. sidebar- I prefer the “un amped” Allure to the Harmony…
  4. You will get an emaIl to show up at 11:00-11:30. There is a dedicated line for The Key holders.
  5. I am aware that they were cancelling cruises through June 2021, I had over a dozen cancelled myself, but after the first few months, people stopped taking the FCC in great numbers and the amount of refunds rose dramatically; again all this information can be found in the SEC quarterlies. (4th qtr 2020-1st qtr 2021 or so would be my guess) All you have to do, as i said, is look at the SEC filings. It is all in black and white, including the liabilities that the unused FCC constitutes. I don't play the stock game, no need for that stress in my life.
  6. I don’t think as many people took FCC as you believe did. The 125% FCC was short lived and there were even fewer taking that. A quick glance at the last 2 quarters SEC filings will show you that case flowing in is relatively let strong, and growing incrementally. FCCs do not show up that way on the balance sheet.
  7. Royal is rapidly approaching 100% capacity WITH the current protocols in place. The on board experience is pretty close to pre covid, and is inching closer and closer every week. I see no catalyst here to push them to change anything quickly.
  8. The capacity is reported from nearly every sailing, every week, on multiple travel related boards. Anyone that has sailed in the last 6 months can tell you firsthand how much fuller the ships are with every passing week. There have been multiple ships sail at full capacity
  9. Many ships are sailing very near or at capacity with the current protocols, no need to be in a hurry to change them.
  10. Royal isn’t profiting from the testing, at least not financially
  11. So, ingesting unknown numbers and quantities of unknown chemicals is a valid alternative? Ridiculous argument
  12. The entire medical community disagrees with your assessment
  13. In 2019 there were semi regular sailings out of Galveston for Coco Cay for several months
  14. With the exception of White Hennessy, there isn’t a deal out there that is worth it to me to deal with transporting bottles.
  15. I don’t understand why Royal isn’t using the aluminum twist top, re-closable, water bottle that Celebrity is using.
  16. Just call back, I have never been unsuccessful
  17. Time does not matter. The requirement is in "calendar days" not a "48 hour time frame"
  18. I completely agree, I don't like to leave anything to chance. The proctored option with I-Health is relatively new, they aren't listed by name on the Royal website, but as I said, they seem to tick all the boxes. I have not called Royal to inquire about this company as my next cruise isn't for 6 weeks or so. I would just like to see someone post "Hey i used the I-Health proctored test and everything went well"
  19. This is a great option, but have not yet heard of anyone successfully using one to board. The kit does however tick all the boxes listed on Royal's website for an approved at home monitored test.
  20. Walkie Talkies SHOULD be on the banned items list
  21. 8 days on the Allure a couple weeks ago, and I NEVER wore long pants the whole trip, no problems in the MDR nor specialty restaurants
  22. This is not the case with a multi device plan. If you buy a 4 device plan, then 4 people can be logged in without anyone being “kicked off”, this is cheaper as well than purchasing multiple “single user” plans
  23. Real ID is not necessary, any government issue photo ID will suffice along with the appropriately certified BC
  24. The room service benefit was for a short time during the initial restart, it has reverted to Chops lunch in the MDR for sometime now.
