I just got off the LOS this week.  I had the soda package.  They have Sprite zero and Coke Zero in cans, but if you have the soda package, they will not give you the can.  They will pour it in your cup for you or give you a glass.  I asked for Diet Dr Pepper or Diet root beer and they did not have any.  Hope that helps!

May I piggyback on this thread and ask how  awkward it would seem for a couple of childless 60 year olds to participate?

I will preface this by saying YMMV.  This was our experience. 

I was able to book testing in June for 4 people at Walgreens.  One of the 4 was a European citizen with a European passport.  All they asked for was for him to show his ID, no questions asked and no charge.

This was in Florida but there may be Walgreens in Seattle as well. 

It doesn't hurt to ask.

Well I can attest that the interior rooms on Ovation have magnetic walls .  Thank you for the info on the Loft Suites!

I love hiding ducks. I hid about 30 on  my last cruise and have 50 to hide on my next one.  It is a big deal to those of us who participate

I just bumped the thread where a poster named Brandon said he was going to use the proctored iHealth test.  He is most likely on his cruise now and hopefully will report back when he returns.

For those curious, we had our bid accepted on Wednesday evening for a Saturday cruise.  So there does not seem to be a 'normal' time for bids to be accepted.  Some  folks on our cruise had their bids accepted a week ago.

Switching the individual reservations from Harmony to Wonder is a more manual process.  Once they get each reservation switched over, they then need to also go back through and update the invoice side of things to adjust for the price protection, so don't panic if after the switch you see that you owe more than you originally thought. It should settle out correctly once everything gets updated.

  I noticed they changed my reservation to stay on the Harmony but sail out of Lauderdale.  I wonder if that means they will not automatically change us to the Wonder.

Out of curiosity I checked our Oct 2022 cruise and it’s not available on that sailing either.

I booked it for our Dec 21 and Feb 22 cruise a long time ago so those are still showing up on my cruise planner.

Did RCCL do away with the unlimited dining package or am I going crazy?  Having to pay a lot of $$$ to book these restaurants individually.

PS I will do anything to avoid the MDR.  Lol

I noticed the same for a cruise this November, but it is available on another cruise I have booked for next June.  so who knows?  I will keep checking, too.

Thank you Andrew.  Unfortunately, I just noticed that the unlimited is not what is being offered on my sailing.  my sailing has an 'up to 100 pictures package and the terms and conditions I was referring to read:

Thank you!  I find that reassuring because in the terms and conditions it says that specialty dining photos are not included.  Since we are doing the unlimited dining, it would have cut down on our images by a lot

I am considering buying a photo package for my next cruise.  It will be just my husband and I but we are both celebrating big birthdays   I sure would appreciate any thoughts, tips, examples, etc. that you would be willing to show me.   We did order the Unlimited Dining Plan and I fear that any photos taken in the specialty restaurants are not included on the photo package.  Can anyone confirm?  Thank you in advance.

I've done galley tours and watched them prepare rows and rows of escargot trays typically late morning.  

In some cases you can order an MDR item while at a specialty restaurant but that isn't official policy so results can vary depending on how busy they are and how far the MDR galley is from the specialty venue.   Chops is relatively close, Wonderland not so much.

Hello All!  I have a big birthday coming up in March and booked Ultimate Dining on Harmony   I have been looking through the menus, because my husband wants to make sure he will still be able to have escargot whenever it is offered.  I have only seen it in the MDR menus, though. 

• Is escargot offered at any of the specialty restaurants on Harmony and I am just not seeing it?
• Is it possible to order from the MDR while at a Specialty (I am also thinking lobster tail)
• Is it possible to have a standing order at the MDR for a plate of escargot that I  would pick up at the  entrance to the MDR and take myself to my dinner reservation?
• Any recommendations on which restaurant to choose for my big day?

I appreciate any insight you aficionados may find yourselves in a position to provide.  Thank you

I am on Ovation in about 3 weeks.  We got our cabin assignment at 30 days out, but I knew what floor I was on as soon as the edocs were available. I did not get an upgrade, but I am actually more pleased with the location of the room than the original cabin  I had booked.  I do not regret at all switching to GTY for a few hundred dollar savings.  FWIW, I am still receiving Royal Up emails asking me to bid for an upgrade.  I hope you also get your stateroom assignment in the next two weeks and I hope you have a fabulous cruise!  I also have had Mother/Daughter cruises and I hope your experience is amazing as mine have been.  Happy Sailing!
