RCL is still recovering from COVID shutdown and all the debt they incurred. Give them time the upgrades will come or they will replace them with newer ships.

Look into Seminole County. Great schools and not too far from Port Canaveral.

Port Canaveral is awesome. I am at this port at least a few times a year for multiple activities. Here is what I do. I drop my family off at Grills Restaurant and they go get a table for breakfast. I take the vehicle, drop off the bags, park, then walk over and usually only wait a few minutes for my meal to arrive that my wife ordered for me . After breakfast we all walk over and get on the ship. Easy Peasy

Yeah I received my refund today.

My refunds I started on 11/8/24 processed before my 11/14/24 cruise, however, I am still waiting for my drink package refund for my March cruise cancelled and rebooked the same time as the others.

I will be staying near the Hard Rock before our cruise next week and I am looking for a place to go for breakfast before the cruise. Any places to recommend between the Hard Rock and the Port? I have been spoiled cruising out of Canaveral because we always eat at Grills for breakfast before we board.

They have a free pool and lazy river area right in the port. We had an awesome time there in Sept.

It all depends on what you like to do. If you all like an adult beverage here and there I recommend the Tequila Mixology tour in Cozumel. It teaches you hoe to make different mexican drinks and you get a snack as well. Costa Maya we love going to Maya Chan where we just relax by the beach and enjoy their awesome food.

Yeah at what point do you do some profit taking or just let it ride!

Jetty Park is the closest beach and you could walk to it if you were up for it. Also there are some good restaurants at the port as well. Another option would be to Uber to Ron Jons Surf Shop and the Pier.

My rule of thumb is if I think I can drink 6 or more mixed drinks a day it is worth it. Plus like the things CruisingNewb pointed out. I'm on vacation I don't want to sign a receipt or worry about a big bill at the end of the cruise.
