My TA said it's possibly due to the lack of staffing. Are Alaska sailing going less than 100% capacity? The Alaska sailing were pulled to accommodate the cancelled sailings, after it returned nearly everything is sold out except suites.

Matt has said if you know you want to upgrade then work with your TA don't rely on Royal up. Since you feel this is will be the only "ladies night" treat yourself and mum to what you can afford. Book now before it's too late.

So how will this affect other cruises going forward? Does this affect Adventure? Maybe more testing?

My TA said that it's a lack of getting help to run the tours. Guess the owner's are trying to hire the seasonal help but it's hard when no one was expecting this to happen.

Yes, junior suite can eat at CK (dinner only) IF it's not full. That's what I've learned from here. When you make the reservations just let them know the other party is junior suite. If they can accommodate they will I'm sure.

Anyone else notice that there's less shore excursions this summer? Also why doesn't the cruise planner have an advisory about mask being mandatory? Looked at a couple on the cruise planner then found the same vendor's website and it clearly stated that masks are required. Something about Alaska law I think?

Don't they have to reduce some capacity to set aside cabins for quarantined guests that may come up during the cruise?

Haven't tried anything but Suite class. Can't imagine having coastal kitchen and not being able to dine there.

When we went on our first Royal cruise in 2019 we knew nothing about Royal except it looked interesting from the commercials and website. Searching for a forum board to gather information on what there's to do led me to Royal Caribbean Blog and there I found a community of friendly, supportive experienced cruisers willing to share their knowledge. Our first cruise with Royal was so AMAZING!! no way it would have been without this community that @Matt built from a hobby. So that's why I give to @Matt to help him keep all that he does going. Would you have know to read pass cruise compasses or even know they existed? Would you have know about when the best time to board is? Would you have know when to buy from the cruise planner and to keep checking? All these things I was clueless about, thanks to THIS community of helpful experienced cruisers we had an Amazing time!! Plus it's fun to watch Matt loose it when people give to say "thank you" @MattTHANK YOU!! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

Looking forward to next week when you are on Adventure and we can ask specific questions about cruising.
