We arrived 20 minutes early on Indy during our Jan 5th cruise and it was already maxed out. We were told that people started lining up an hour ahead of time. No thanks!

As Matt mentioned on the FB thread, maybe we will continue to see the stickers until they are all used. -

We used the Royal Visa for years, but switched to the Sam's MC. It pays 5% cashback on fuel, 3% on travel and dining and 1% on everything else.

You might want to call Royal... I too LOVE, or should I say loved, Luggage Valet. I tried to set it up this weekend while on Indy and was told the service has been cancelled fleet wide. :(

We were booked on Brilliance and got cancelled when the Monsters of Rock chartered the entire ship.

Was on Liberty in November. Please tell Nadia, the manager of Sabor, that the Wilson's said hello. Just reminder her I was the guy who wore the RCblog Sabor shirt each time we ate there.

Love Embassy Suites, but $300 out of my price range. Hoping to find something that has shuttle service in $100-$150 range if possible. -

How close is the Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale/Downtown Las Olas Area to the cruise terminal? Found address of 250 North Andrews Avenue, but can't find address of cruise terminal? I can get a $94 rate, but will have to pay Uber from Airport and hotel to cruise ship. We are arriving at 11:30 pm the night before cruise so we are basically just needing a clean place to stay for sleep. -
Just booked Jan 5, 2017 on Independence. Thx Doc.

Thank you. Mr Jarvis sent me the address last night and I turn sent an email. I received a reply early this morning and the Concierge will be Anis Tebbeb. Apparently Jorge or Carlos had to leave the ship a few weeks ago due to a family emergency.

Thanks guys!

We will be in our first full suite on Liberty beginning Nov 13th. I booked a Grand Suite as soon as the sailings were announced and got a really great deal. I was told that we would receive an email from the concierge two weeks before the cruise. We are 6 days from sailing and nothing. We are traveling with 13 other people and 2 other couples also have a GS and have not received an email. I don't know what the email contains and if I should be concerned that we could miss out on some important info. Anybody recently in a full suite that can chime in? Thx!

We have had ours wear off probably due to excessive use. LoL I wonder why they don't have in print on the card like it does your name?

Seeing the same on all 4 of our future cruises. -
We stay in Texas City the night before the cruise. It is 10-15 minutes from the Galveston port and the hotels are about half the price. Check out the video of Tidal Wave if you have not already seen it: https://youtu.be/dosRlxXhYHA

Welcome to Royal Caribbean Blog. This has happened to us a couple times, but we don't feel ripped off. At the time of booking the price was what I was comfortable paying. If prices drop before final payment I re-book at the lower rate. Sure I would like to pay less, but I also understand it's a business. The ship needs to sail at or near capacity and if that means dropping prices prior to sailing I accept that. Hotels and airlines do it all the time. In the future you can wait and book after final payment, but is the risk worth it? Prices could be higher, category that you want not available or worse case the ship could be sold out. I know it stings a bit, but you are going to have a great time. Enjoy your cruise and make sure to come back and do a review.

Welcome to Royal Caribbean Blog. You might consider a drink package if you consume at least 5 adult beverages a day. Looking at my upcoming sailings they range from $44-$48 per day. Lots of great info here: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/05/25/are-royal-caribbeans-unlimited-drink-packages-worth-it

We have done a repeat on Navigator and doing another on Liberty next month. Friends that we met on Navigator last year are joining us next month. Different friends that we met in April on Liberty are joining us on Navigator Nov 2017. I really look forward to cruising with great RCblog friends that I met on the Freedom group cruise. Also those that could not make the cruise but showed up for the pre-cruise meet-up at FishLips.
