  1. Sooo...what if my soon-to-be-9 year old's birthday is on embarkation day? (SUNDAY!!! WOOHOO!) Any chance that they could do something special on that first night? We have my time dining, and have a reservation for 7 pm. Could I talk to someone right when we get onboard to get it set up for that evening?
  2. Howdy! Just curious if any of the Trolls characters are appearing at the breakfast yet? We would love to see them!
  3. Talk to me about hair braiding...I have two girls that want this done...half head/headband style. I've heard that they do this on Labadee, and also that it's quite pricey in comparison to other places. Also hear conflicting reports about its availability on Falmouth. I want a clean place (we will bring own combs and rubber bands) but also want to get the most reasonable price. Advice?
  4. Same for a Western Itinerary on Oasis since moving to port canaveral! Please, pretty please!
  5. Thanks for the help everyone! So, if we take our time getting off the ship...then what is open to do? We will obviously need to vacate our rooms ASAP, and will venture out and take our time to eat breakfast, but then is anything else open, or just find a lounge chair? Maybe it's just as easy to sit in the airport?
  6. Hi there, helpful veteran cruisers! We are sailing RCL for the first time in a few months and will be on the Oasis from Port Canaveral. I've got a question about debarkation...we know that we do not want to carry our luggage off ourselves...with the kids and our carry ons, it would be too much. Our return flight home leaves MCO at 1:55, so we don't have to rush off the ship. We have a town car lined up for transportation mack to MCO, but how do we know what time to meet them? I have read in the compass that they assign you a number and then you leave when your number is called...can we select a time? If our town car is to arrive at 10, how can we assure that we are off the ship and through customs? Is there even anything open to do on the ship that morning, other than finding a lounge chair? I assume they will want people out of their staterooms early. Any experienced advice would be very welcomed. Thanks so much!
  7. Hi All! I have two girls ages 9 and 11 that will be with us on Oasis this spring. The cupcake decorating classes just came up in our cruise planner as an activity to book. I think that they would have fun doing this, as they love to help me bake at home. I see that there is a "kids class" that is ages 5 and under, so they obviously don't qualify. The "adults class" is listed as ages 6 and up, but I'm wondering if it is appropriate for all ages or if it will be over their head in terms of technique and content. If I am to pay $30 for each of them, I'd like to be sure that they can participate! ;) Also, what do they do? Just decorate one cupcake? Would I need to pay as well, or can I take them there and observe and take pictures without paying? Thanks for your help! This is our first RCL cruise and I want to find some special things for my girlies to do!
  8. Thanks, Matt! We are so torn about falmouth. Don't want to have to drive an hour to get to somewhere, but not much to do in falmouth itself... -_-
  9. We can book our entertainment now for our March 2017 Oasis cruise! WOOHOO! Question about the Headliner showtime...is it the same show all of the times it is offered? So we would only need to choose one showtime if we wanted to see it?
  10. We are looking at the Margaritaville Catamaran, Beach Break and Party...anyone have reviews of this? We are debating between this and just going to Margaritaville on our own since it's right by the port. We have kids ages 11 and 9, and not sure if the catamaran will be more of a "booze cruise" that would be inappropriate for them...
