It seems I was a bit slow to book the dolphin excursion I wanted to in Nassau. Only 2 spots left and we are 3. 1. Do you think they would let us get a third spot of I called? 2. If we book 2 dolphin and 1 stingray would we all get to be together for the rest of the day / transit besides the specific encounters?

I have issues with people who let's their children cause chaos while they sit and relax. I'm a mom myself so its nothing specifically against kids. But you actually have to parent them. If you have to pick your kid up in the middle of a tantrum and exit the room, I totally get it and will give you a solidarity head nod with "been there" look. But if you are going to sit down drinking while your kids cquse mayhem and just look the other way....not ok.

Excursions through ship or on your own Alaska

We also want a tour going to the yukon and hoping the rules ease. We are canadian and admit our gouvernemnt is being ridiculously strict! Will be so much easier when they relax some travel rules. -
Excursions through ship or on your own Alaska

Your juneau excursion is exactly what I want! We want to whale watch them go to the glacier but with extra time as I want to hike to nugget falls. Do you have a direct link? -
I’m going to start by saying that I have excursion anxiety after a member of our travel party made us nearly miss the ship years ago. So many times I book through the ship because this circumstance really shook me up. However as we are sailing to Alaska this year I’m feeling like if there is anywhere to trust a 3rd party it’s Alaska. No language barriers, easy to contact them etc. Would you agree with this? I’m ready to book outside RC and my husband is still worried. also if anyone has amazing suggestions for Juneau or Skagway I’m all ears! 2 adults and our 7 year old.

I have the opportunity to sail Alaska sept 23rd of this year. Would be my husband, myself and our cruise loving 7 year old. Im worried about weather etc that late in the Alaska season. Anyone sail around then and have opinions? Good and bad welcome!

If going with my time dining is the table different every day? I'm trying to see if a table by the window can be requested. Or if that's only available for set seating. Thxs!

Masks and Unvaccinated Kids after 2/25 …..
Marlena replied to ChrisK2793's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I read a post saying a family was called and informed their sailing was over the 5% unvaxxed. Not sure how they are dealing with that. -
More reasonable prices for cruise planner items....

Royal Caribbean opts into CDC highly vax program
Marlena replied to HBCcruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
Anyone think they will function like carnival? I believe they treat it as a lottery style for all unvaxxed kids to make sure enough people are in the vaxxed category. Because I’m sure some weeks may have a higher then 5% unvaxxed rate . -
Royal Caribbean opts into CDC highly vax program
Marlena replied to HBCcruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
When we cruised end of nov and mask mandates were for everyone inside I did not see one child be told to wear a mask when running around the promenade etc. I dont have faith that if 5-12 don't have a vaccine mandate they will enforce masks for the unvaxxed as they state. ( and this is not an anti kids rant as I am the mother of an almost 7 year old. Just that I never saw mask enforcement for children) -

RC Announced onboard protocols through April 14
Marlena replied to smokeybandit's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
this may be an unpopular opinion...but I am ok with these protocols. HOWEVER there is a specific reason for this. I am from Canada, and we still have that damn neg PCR to return. I appreciate the protocols while this rule exists because its facilitates being allowed back in my home country! Once the neg PCR rule is lifted I`m happy to enjoy a mask free vacation. -

Cruise Planner Drink Package Sales
Marlena replied to SemperMom's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Are these new " normal " prices for DBP now. Last cruise in nov I paid 50$ per day and I find 2022 cruises prices are astronomical for stuff like this. Had never seen it above 62 on any cruise I've taken before. -
If buying something in CP, can you choose to not use the OBC and only use credit card?
-
When you have OBC in your cruise planner is it any different from one you may receive on board from a TA or something? If i don't use it before my cruise does it just cross over for while I am on board? Also, does anyone ever get random OBC and not know how? I had 150 that I got from when I booked and a week later I magically have 250. Im not complaining! Just wanted to know if it happened to others.
