Airbnb is the way to go. We stayed right across the street from the Boqueria for 1/4 of the price of a hotel

its really hit or miss. Sometimes 2 weeks prior, other times a week prior. Log out of the app and log back in. If you use a vpn turn it off.

they will allow you to book 2 non connecting rooms that are close to each other if you cant get connecting. Just call Royal Caribbean

No interest in Royal Railway... I'm too frugal and my wife would only eat the kids' menu, lol. Thanks though.
We've been on Wonder 5 times, big Mason Jar fans. If nothing else, I pop in to grab a drink most days and love their brunch. Tried dinner for the first time last week and really liked the ribs but decided to go back to brunch.
I'm most looking forward to new shows, Pesky Parrot, the newly renovated CL up on deck 16, GK in its new location, etc. Basically whatever is different from Wonder (which I obviously already love).
Pesky Parrot is fun I'm glad they added it to Allure now CL was still on 4 last time we were on.

Looking forward to the first of several Utopia B2B's we have booked over the next year or so in just over a month.
Obviously going in with an open mind. I believe everyone who had issues with the noise level but I'm not overly concerned.
We avoid the main pool area on every ship (sun and crowds are not my friends). If the aqua show is loud, I think I can deal for 45 minutes.
We're rarely bothered by much but anything is possible.
it definitely grew on us after our 2nd sailing. Its tough to get a feel for it on a short cruise. It is busy though unlike short cruises on other ships. Definitely try to get Royal Railway if you can and spend time at Mason Jar in the evening for the live music.

Just on independence and our chairs were zip tied in a reclined position. Not sure why they are doing that...kinda weird

we love the 3 night weekender cruise. Just got off Indy this morning. We go on 6 or so a year in between a couple week long cruises. I think Royal will keep adding ships to the short cruise sailings as long as they keep selling out which they do.

We’ve done both. Concierge class is a higher deck veranda and access to the concierge office to help with reservations etc. Aqua class as you mentioned gets access to the thermal suite which nis nice and Blue restaurant which we did not think was an upgrade over main dining. If I were going to pick one I’d probably choose aqua for the Persian garden

Do they have taxi to from turtle beach?
They do but it’s on the other side of the island so will be about as much as renting the car. The first time we were there we hired a taxi for the day. We had 2 families and he charged us $300 to stay with us all day
-
in curacao when you get off the boat there will be guys renting cars (included insurance). I think it was $100 cash for the day. They will give you a map. You want to hit "Turtle Beach" (Playa Grandi) you are guaranteed to swim with turtles there. So many other great spots, Grote Knip, Klein Knip. Take your pick. With the car you can hit them all.

How is Brightline? We're cruising out of Fort Lauderdale next year. Whether I fly out of Toronto or Buffalo there aren't many daily flights. Although flying to Orlando they seem to be almost hourly (and much cheaper). Was thinking of flying into Orlando and taking Brightline down
we love Brightline. We are getting on Independence of the Seas Friday in Miami and are on the 6:50AM train in Orlando.
-
Definitely not too early. We don't fly but frequently take the Brightline which is a 15 minute Uber from the terminal and get there by 8:30 easily. I do recommend walking off with your luggage if you can vs putting it out the night before and having to go collect it. If you walk off you can leave as soon as the gangway opens vs waiting for your number to be called.

Even on the Oasis class ship if you don't get a reservation don't let that deter you from going. The non reservation que for the Aqua show might look long but you will likely get in. We were on Utopia and the line ended at the dog house. When we got into the seating area it was half full.

love a Rum old fashioned from Boleros

They really don’t make a very good cup of coffee either, the machine in the crown lounge is much better
