  1. With the current health and safety protocols you don't reserve the entertainment until you are on the ship.
  2. Cancel February under CWC and get the FCC and apply it the June cruise when it is final payment time.
  3. If you aren't going through a travel agent, then yes.
  4. If you are looking for a free option for testing the CVS location on Bird Road in Miami is a walk-in testing site. However it is about a 25 minute each way ride from the Port of Miami/Miami Beach area. Appointments are required.
  5. Even if you don't upload the vax proof you will be showing it at the port too..it isn't a requirement to complete check in online. The uploading is to give them a chance to verify some. There are still a lot of folks who cruise without submitting anything ahead of time.
  6. Yes. No passports are required on any cruise that leaves from the US and returns to the US (referred to as a closed loop cruise). Birth certificate and drivers license will work.
  7. You have to carry on water and soda. It can't be checked through to your room. There should be water packages available in the Cruise Planner to pre-purchase. As for soda, you might as well pay as you go for the prices they charge you on the gifts page.
  8. No reason not to. Get the rapid so you have the results as soon as you can.
  9. Nope. A reprice keeps the same reservation number so it maintains all your Cruise Planner purchases.
  10. Yes. Order a virgin drink with the shot on the side and you'll just pay for the shot. Sometimes they will mix it in for you if you ask, but you need to make sure they understand what you are trying to accomplish with respect to using your package and paying the difference. You can't walk up and order a pina colada and expect it to be charged any other way than for a menu priced pina colada unless they know.
  11. Usually when they announce a President's Cruise it is an already released sailing. So you could already have that sailing booked before they announce it's going to be the cruise they choose to be the President's Cruise. They announced it's gonna be Alaska next summer and those itineraries have already been open for booking for awhile prior to the announcement. They haven't announced which specific date yet though.
  12. If the entire menu has prices, then with the UDP you will have a set amount per visit that you can order up to. It differs by restaurant. If there are only a couple items that have a price next to them, that means it's a fixed cover charge to dine there and those items are an upcharge in addition to the fixed cover charge. With the UDP you won't pay the cover charge to dine there, but you will pay for any of the upcharge items.
  13. As long as there's no $ figure next to an item it is included with the UDP.
  14. It won't be an issue. They take photos of the vaccination cards when you board the ship if you haven't uploaded them. As long as you bring the original vaccination cards and they are completed fully (lot number, facility, date, type of vaccine, etc) there will be no issues. You should be able to choose a check-in time without uploading the cards if you go through the app.
  15. You retain double points as long as the reservation number stays the same, which it will as long as you aren't changing ships or sail date. However if this is a RoyalUp bid and not a direct upgrade you won't get any bonus points for being in a suite. (I assumed with the 500 per person statement you were talking about Royal Up.)
  16. I believe when you arrive you meet your cabana attendant and they will keep an eye out. They bring you food and drinks so they'll constantly be checking back to see if you need anything so they would recognize unknown faces.
  17. Nope. That's $1000 I could put towards drink packages, dining packages or excursions or another entire cruise!
  18. The Freestyle machines do have flavored carbonated water. The soda package would give you access to that. I'm not sure if you can get soda water at the bar without being on the Refreshment package, though. The soda package doesn't include still bottled water.
  19. I haven't heard of them making an appearance recently. It was never a sure thing and didn't happen on every sailing.
  20. A TA will have access to the lower price and still can do the Best Price Guarantee.
  21. With no disembarking passengers your biggest hindrance to arriving early will be when they formerly open the terminal. Port of Miami does have a separate suites check-in waiting area. Even if they're not ready to board you should be able to sit there and wait, especially if you have the 11am boarding time.
  22. I have never used them but the roads will be perfectly safe to drive the golf carts on. Can't answer the question about driving on the walkway. I have never seen any carts on the path, though.
  23. It's a recent change to 45 days out for check-in. You do not have to be paid in full to check-in. It should open up at midnight EST. If you want to guarantee an early arrival time, checking in as early as you can is the way to go. Sometimes they open up earlier slots as the cruise gets closer so if you don't get the earliest, keep checking back.
  24. I stay more by the airport when I'm driving. Prices are ridiculous otherwise and no free parking.
