  1. That was their answer when I asked them - "Business Casual"
  2. We had one on the Allure. I only ordered an omelette though. I don't know about Eggs Benedict, over easy, scrambled, or other egg options.
  3. Any web-based application you can use for messaging will require a VOOM package for both of you. Other than messaging apps, I cannot think of any other option available. Without VOOM packages, you will have to go old school - room-to-room calling, post-it notes, and/or small white boards on door. If you are both iPhone/iPad users, iMessage (Messages) works well onboard. I don't know anything about Androids and other devices
  4. What I forgot to get on the Allure recently was the free spin at the slot machines.
  5. The same goes for the BOGO 50% offer for photos. It also for one time use only.
  6. No you don't... but it would be good to put luggage tags on your carry-ons just in case they are separated from you.
  7. Yes, there is an omelette station at the Windjammer. There is a form you fill out (or the server fills out) for the ingredients you would like in your omelette. Then they give you number so they can locate your table when they serve your omelette. It's no longer prepared "while you wait".
  8. If I'm not mistaken, this is a good group to ask for recommendations for a reliable selfie stick with remote. I'm planning to get an iPhone 13 Pro so I need a stick with a large enough mount. A selfie stick and tripod combo would be a plus but I'd settle for just a stick. The selfie sticks I've had in the past were mostly flimsy and of poor quality. Can you please throw some links, product reviews, and recommendations my way. Thanks!
  9. They offered a beverage package about halfway into the cruise some years back. The F&B guy I chatted with said the sales of drinks was low.
  10. My Brilliance sailing (also from Tampa like the Serenade) in December this year also has a stop in Cozumel. I hope they keep this itinerary.
  11. If you click "View boarding pass | Edit check-in", a link to the luggage tags also shows up. It links to a single-page PDF with just the luggage tags.
  12. Try calling Crown & Anchor Society at 800-526-9723. They're pretty good at resolving issues like this
  13. I didn't bring a suit, I just wore a tucked in long-sleeved dress shirt for both nights. Some guests were wearing casual attire.
  14. On the Allure (09/05) the dress code was Formal for Day 2 and "Dress Your Best" for Day 6
  15. I got this from my local CVS. I think it's made specifically for the CDC Vaccine Card
  16. I was typing this today (September 23): "Thanks to the information on this thread and @Matt's blog entry for today on the Cruise Planner Sale, I was able to reprice my Chill Island Cabana for $100 lower." Then I realized I ordered a different Cabana. My original order was for the Coco Beach Club Cabana. So I went back to the Cruise Planner to cancel the "Chill Cabana" and reorder the "Beach Cabana". In all these transactions, the OBD became available as soon as I canceled the order.
  17. I think the sea trials are more for the vessel's seaworthiness rather the add-on features.
  18. In my case, I wanted Rhapsody to stay in Tampa only because I have already sailed on the Serenade. At the moment, I don’t book ships I have already sailed on. My bucket list is to sail on all Royal Caribbean ships. Funny, Royal took the initiative of replacing three of my bookings (Brilliance-Radiance-Rhapsody) with the Serenade. Even after opting to take the refund for canceled sailings, the Serenade still appears in my Upcoming Cruises. I’m sure, however, that you will enjoy the Serenade. I was on her for 11 nights in an Eastern Caribbean sailing.
  19. The joke (if there’s one) is lost on me. I don’t know what P C Load Letter error is. ha ha
  20. I’m curious why the Royal App is not yet working on the Wonder. Isn’t it one of the features tested at sea trials? I have no idea what sea trials are for.
  21. They only checked for type of vaccine, number of shots, and date(s) of vaccination. I think they can see that info in a laminated card. To be sure, better message them on their Facebook group and print out their reply.
