  1. After reading many reviews I'm not too worried about it. I'm sure we can find a spot on the beach that isn't too bad. A few nude folks here and there wouldn't be a big deal, my kids aren't young where I'd be bothered if they see something.
  2. I was going to ask about this! Thanks for the info as I will certainly try this in May on Navigator.
  3. I am going to book a Bernard's Tour to Orient Beach in a few weeks, I see that it's clothing optional. My 2 girls (16 & 20 years old) don't seem to like the fact there will be nude people. How bad is it really? I assume most will be clothed? I'd also assume many will just be topless? And is it big enough to likely find a place on the beach not quite as busy, thus having less naked people? Trying to get some info to ease their minds about it. Thanks!
  4. Spiralqueen, that’s the exact Beach Bed I had last July!! Beach Beds are awesome, rented one for my upcoming May sailing on Navigator!!
  5. The Key sold out in the last week or so for my February 24th sailing....so in this case it sold out roughly 5 weeks out.
  6. I'm sailing on Oasis on February 24th! Can't wait as this will be my 1st time on an Oasis class ship!
  7. If all goes according to schedule, Navigator will be the 1st ship to visit Perfect Day on May 3rd. IF this date holds true then you will have most of the Perfect Day experience available to you (some things at a cost of course). I’ll be on Navigator for it’s 3rd trip there in May, I rented a beach bed so if Perfect Day isn’t ready, I will still have a great day relaxing on the beach!
  8. I never even look at any options other then at the terminal. I don't see the savings outwieghing the convenience, especially at the terminals with the parking garage attached like Canaveral and Miami!
  9. Great price! $49 has been the lowest for my Oasis sailing next month. I did however cancel 3 device VOOM and purchase 4 device for a total increase of only $3.57!! That was a no brainer!
  10. February 24th - Oasis May 3rd - Mariner May 10th - Navigator Christmas - Gatlinburg, TN (wanted a cruise but crazy family wanted a land vacation!)
  11. I used the chest strap and they didn't say a word. I also had a wrist remote to turn it on and off.
  12. That’s unfortunate, it was so convenient! Oh well, thanks everyone.
  13. On my last several cruises I was able to sign the activity wavers during the online check in process however when I checked in for my Feb 24th Oasis sailing there were no waivers. Also last July check in had me take photos of us to upload (Enchantment) but not this time and it's the same terminal. What's with the inconsistencies??
  14. This is what I do every sailing. My kids are 16 & 20, I book my 16 y/o with me and 20 y/o with my wife. I simply go to guest services and get an extra room key for each room......and buy the drink package for me of course. Having 2 rooms also allows us to bring 4 bottles of wine, which is more than enough for my wife. She only drinks her wine and the very occasional frozen drink while on board so buying her the drink package would be a complete waste of money.
  15. All true for sure. If the waterpark isn't ready yet the 2nd week of May, it's really not a deal breaker for me. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary.....I'll rent a beach bed and have a very relaxing and perfect day!
  16. I generally bring $500-$600 and always come home with money. Tipping porters and other onboard staff is easy to figure, but what you may need cash for in a port is a variable I want to be prepared for.
  17. On a 3 night sailing will the suite lounge serve complimentary drinks in the evening? Sailing in a GS on Navigator this May.
  18. We did the Rum Tasting and Island History excursion in April. The guide was awesome, and the run was outstanding! Definitely one of the more enjoyable excursions I've done. You have to be of legal US drinking age so I had to leave my kids (16 & 20) onboard, LOL!
  19. True, but considering how upset customers would be, I am still pretty sure they are confident in the completion dates. The pier is one thing, but not finishing the phases on time will result in a loss of revenue.
  20. February 2020 is over a year away, I’d be surprised if it all wasn’t done with possibly the exception of the final phase. I can purchase all the first phase things (water park, balloon, etc) for my May ‘19 sailing so I’m betting they are confident on the dates for that.
  21. My wife and I are going in May.....I can buy the Waterpark Cabana for $400 and we both will get the full day pass to the waterpark?? That seems like a great deal!
  22. I was there in July on Enchantment as well and thought the same thing when I saw these pics!
  23. I’ve used it twice for $100 OBC and once for $50. I currently have $750,000 coins, they often have free cruises (of course you pay taxes and fees) for 1 million coins. I go on an annual group cruise and unfortunately they don’t allow the OBC to be applies to group bookings.
  24. I always get a spare room key for each cabin from guest services, never a problem.
