  1. Not gonna hold it against ya, as I think I asked almost the same question about three years ago!
  2. Hi @CruisingOz, we also had our Chichen Itza by Air canceled for our December 2021 NYE cruise. We booked that tour for the purpose of avoiding the ferry and long bus ride to the site, not to mention being able to spend more time at the site. I imagined that we would be back on ship from the "by air" excursion just about the time the ferry/bus tours were arriving. We will not visit via the ferry/bus excursion. We will either wait for it to show back up in a year or so (headed back to Cozumel December 2022) or head to it when we visit by land. I did see it available outside of the cruiseplanner, Cozumel by Air website, I think. On a cruise excursion like that, I prefer to book with Royal.
  3. Just click on it (the page given above) or click on it in your purchase in your order history.
  4. I'm not sure about this. Are they refunding my total amount paid? I had no discounts, OBC, or anything else here. This was just your garden variety purchase and refund. I refreshed the page and now it shows this: So, $116.97 or $138?
  5. Hmmm..... I signed out and signed in and that did not change anything. Why does this have to be so nerve wracking? I feel like now to get on a ship we have to go through "try outs." Before, we could just "walk on."
  6. With the old interface, to reschedule an excursion, dining, etc., activity, all I had to do was click "Modify." How do I reschedule a dining reservation without having to cancel it?
  7. Travel and Leisure has removed it from their website, or perhaps a URL hijack of the T&L and RC, although both sites had the secure sign in the URL (https). I suggest if you do get selected, call Royal Caribbean (DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER IN THE EMAIL) and verify.
  8. We checked in for our NYE Oasis cruise last week. I uploaded the front and back of our CDC Vaccination cards. How long does it take for them to validate/verify them? For some reason, maybe I saw it on these boards, I was under the impression that it took about 48 hours for them to complete that task.
  9. I bought a package of six from the Optum store via Royal. $199. I received them, and it turns out they were to expire before the Feb 3 +3 months stated on their website. I called them, and the two reps I spoke with said they saw the same thing on their website, and they refunded all my money and said to keep the tests (which expire on 12/19), and told me to order directly from eMed. So I ordered a package of six from eMed for $150 plus shipping. See below. eMed was cheaper for the same number of tests, and the tests expire in February. Caveat: YMMV.
  10. Just thinking about this, floating, drink in my hand, no children jumping in along the way, pure bliss.
  11. ^^^^^^THIS RIGHT HERE!!!! Great point!!! Unless each patron is washing/sanitizing their hands after they stuff that last morsel in their mouth (hello chicken wings, sushi, burgers, pizza, etc.) before going back to the trough, the initial washy washy washy is ALMOST pointless. If they go back three times after their initial plate and touch just one pair of tongs each time, then that is three possible viral loads from just one person. And, most people touch more than one pair of tongs per trip, right? The spread is exponential. #teamwindjammernay
  12. Crap. If this happens to us, we're screwed. We fly out Christmas Day for Dec 26th Oasis. We are planning on doing our Binax At-home proctor test on Christmas Eve. We are not off to a good start as We have already received 6 tests that expired before the website said they would at the Optum store. Website said Feb 3, but the tests we received said Dec 18th (with the 3 month FDA extention included). They refunded our order, but don't have any to ship. I then ordered directly from eMed. Hopefully, eMed isn't shipping dried up dropper tests.
  13. A Radiance class ship complaining about an Oasis class ship.
  14. What check-in time did you get? Do you think checking in early helped with your port check-in arrival time?
  15. It is still on my cruise planner for Oasis, Dec 26th sailing. We bought it many moons ago at $38/pax Driver A.
  16. Thank you @Curt From Canada! Yay!!! More planning opportunities!!
  17. Hmmmmm. Maybe a crispy $20 or so tip to the attendent from the get go will help?
  18. Book ASAP. Suites go fast. Even if you don't book a suite, book EARLY. Prices go up, up, up. If they do go down, you can always cancel and re-book. Get a TA. You'll be much happier. You can still control everything else. They do the legwork (phone calls, etc.) for your rebookings. @Sharla s our TA, and I can't say enough good things about her.
  19. Hi @Cruzinfromsd. Welcome to the boards! I'm asking just for clarification: Are you saying that the squaters will have already purchased the Thrill Waterpark Passes? Second, how many in your group will have permission to park at your cabana?
  20. Title: Will cruise sector bounce back as biggest ever ship sets sail? I think the title nails the tone of the article, especially when coupled with its last paragraph: The trio have amassed an eye-watering $58 billion in debt. Carnival had $26 billion in long-term debt as of 31 May. Royal Caribbean Group owed $20.1 billion as of 30 June, according to second-quarter earnings reports. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, meanwhile, was $11.9 billion in debt at the end of June.
